Wow! Thank you for posting this episode I remember my brother and I used to watch this show on Channel 13 in the New York Area back around 1964. This episode is one I specifically remember seeing. For some reason I think the series stopped being aired shortly after this one showed and we were really disappointed. Great series that really stuck in my mind. Thanks again.
I remember this episode more than ever from its original showing on BBC TV and it made a little boy nearly cry and certainly struggle with a lump in his throat the size of a piece of coal from Grumbly, right before tea. Today, some 30 years later my own 2 year old son loves Ivor.
