are slapshots harder to take in rollerhockey due to the fact that the playing surface isn't as slippery therefore the stick wont slide when it's bent, and not catapulting towards the puck?

@Jontenn Nope, 100% easier to shot with an inline puck. The puck is a bit lighter than an ice puck so it lifts more easily.

But that's the only plus. Moving the puck on the floor is like watching molasses flow.

Ok. I play both inline and ice, I've played ice all my life on AAA teams and I started inline about 3 or 4 years ago. They're both hockey and they're both fukin awesome. Online there's no hitting so u get to really work on ur hands, and it's more for fun rather than competition. Ice is awesome, it's fast and physical, the main differences are the organization of it. Inline is way laid back so it's somthin fun to do with like a group of hockey friends and ice is all about order and competition.

I just think people who take it so seriously are idiots and should play ice. the best league of ice hockey is 20 times faster than the best legue of inline players. ice is way faster pace way harder and theres hitting ;D

It looks like an old hockey version, much like they played for their country in the mid 70s. I'm not thinking about the NHL because it was more physical, but really about 70s international tournaments which were a bit more about skills.

Some plays make me think about the Soviet team. Funny.

@GueorguiJoukov Well most inline leagues are no-check, so it's more about the finesse, teamwork, etc. than the gritty down-in-the-corner stuff of the NHL.
