  • CALL FOR HELP NOWWWWWWWW

  • To those 182 people who liked this:

    ya'll be cool

  • WOW What a kickass trailer! I ll never forget I saw this opening weekend on times square NYC! The redneck bar scene had everyone cheering! I still love Eddie!!!

  • Eddie Murphy`s laugh! :))

  • The german voice of eddie murphy is actually funnier.

  • i fucking hate it when movie trailors tell too much

  • Generally, EPS is not indicated if V. tach. or V. fib. occurs within 48 hours of acute MI.

  • XD - i like it.

  • 6 people couldn't get it done in 48 hrs

  • name of song?

  • @MrEmiin "the boys are back in town"

  • no way could this movie be made again likek this. it is way too UN PC!! LOL

  • anyone else notice that similarities of this and rush hour haha

  • Nice partnership between these two actors Nolte and Murphy are marvelous in this hit movie.

  • Whatta you say we go get us an Indian down the Alley

  • One of the best trailers ever, just as awesome as the film ;)

  • l love this movie, so funny.

  • it is like our Egyptian film hanafy el-obaha

  • "Jack, tell me a story"

    "Fuck You"

"Oh, that's one of my favorites"

  • Eddie Murphy in his first film role. Still ranks as one of his best.

  • haha this is one of the best classic buddy movies ever

  • @szewei85 yes. and the first

  • @controversyking

    I see.

  • Eddie's first film role. Funnily enought the sequel to this was the last eddie murphy movie I realy enjoyed. He had some excellent roles in the 80's. Went down hill in terms of roles and performances after then. Bit like carrey in the nineties who made some awsome films and played great characters. After that he went downhill aswell. The only actor who has had consistantly good roles in the last 16 years and done good films is will smith. And he isnt doing another film till 2012.

  • @theutddream Will Smith sucks. He gets affirmative action film roles.

  • Classic action flick!

  • eddie murphy is da shit

  • Jack Cates = an American Gene Hunt! (Gene Hunt is a character on UK shows like Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes)

  • just finished watchin it on rogers. great movie

  • This created the buddy cop genre, but Lethal Weapon was the perfection of it. Although this was still a very good movie as well.

  • @SLPIFan

usually many of the buddy cop genres are so funny! i think this is eddie murphy's first hollywood movie.

  • @Tiamat583 what ever you do don't watch that movie with bruce willis and tracy morgan......absolutely terrible.

  • @quincee33

you mean Cop Out? i did watch it, it was okay. the other guys with will ferrell and mark wahlberg are not that good either.

  • @quincee33

theres another good buddy cop movie named "The Man", with sam jackson and eugene levy, very funny movie, i recommend it.

  • murphys film debut..he shines throughout....nick nolte is excellent as always...it s amazing that the academy hastn given nolte an oscar yet..

  • @thebigrene1972

It leads up to the fight. That's why I find that amusing cause later on, Jack and Reggie are gettin into a scuffle and cursing and ranting at each other. You have to see the fight scene to get the joke. Really what Jack said was, 'You either tell me the truth or you're gonna get the living shit beat ouf you' to which Reggie just scoffs at the threat.

  • @thebigrene1972 ...Yea and your mother look's like the tip of MY DICK!!!

  • @thebigrene1972 hey man, fuck you, what the fuck do you know about my father, don't talk tough on youtube,if you got a problem, come and say it to my face, cocksucker

  • "Now wait a moment. Where's your badge?"

"I ain't got no badge. I outta hit you"

  • Reggie : jack read me a bedtime story

    Jack: Fuck You

Reggie: aww thats one of my favourites

  • Wow , this is Eddie Murphy´s first movie role ever but damn , looks like hes a pro already there

  • Billy Bear is in my class at the University of Kentucky, I shit you not. English 281 he is a cool dude, random as hell that hes at UK, but still pretty cool.

  • @sportpro448 Wierd. I've heard that from somebody else, and he said, that her was annoying as hell.

  • hey its billy from predator!!

THERES SOMTHIN OUT THERE......AN IT AINT NO MAN!!

  • RIP Harold Dow

  • The Boys Are Back In Town

  • ....oh this was a great movie! classic! nowadays, eddie seems to be making some forgettable films..

  • "Look at you , you got a 500$ suit and you're still a lowlife"

    "Yeah, but I look good"

    LOL

  • James Remar♥

  • R.H. : You know you are real stupid for a cop man, you're following this guy too close.

J.C. : Yeah, well most cops are pretty stupid; but since you landed in jail what the hell does that make you?

  • cheesy trailer

  • cool movie

  • why would you people want this movie to be uploaded on you tube you can buy it for less than 5 bucks i mean come on

  • Best movie ever

  • I love this movie, very entertaining and it have a lot great quote. Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy is great together. Its a shame dont make films lake this today.

  • @DirtyHarryFan88 Pardon: like this, not lake this. Sorry.

  • @DirtyHarryFan88

well, theres the man with samuel l jackson and eddie murphy, very funny buddy cop movie, i recommend it, give it a try!

  • I got a good one for you:

Q: In 2010, what's 48 Hours and 28 Days Later, The Day After Tomorrow, if today was the End of Days in January, Man?

  • Ediie Murphy looks like Michael Keaton @1:56.

  • Cahier: hey your ticket is 4 years old

Luther: yea, well ive been BUSY!

    lmao.

  • LETS GO GET US AN INDIAN DOWN THE ALLEY

  • Let's go get us an indian down thee .

  • Factoid:

Remember that old movie 'The Warriors'...well the main bad guy in this movie was in that gang....he had a lead role in the 'Warriors' he's the one who got handcuffed to the park bench by the undercover cop posing as a prostitute in central park...

  • @ghostchild88 His name is James Remar.....Walter Hill who directed The Warriors also directed 48hrs liked his work, so he used him again in 48hrs.

  • reggie:lookin for billy bear,

    barman:Neva heard of 'im.

    (glass shatter)

reggie:U HEARD OF HIM NOW MAN?!?!

  • 'You come clean or we're going again right here, right now.'

    POW!

  • @Tiamat583 The funniest bit is when the guy in the bar goes to Eddie wielding a handgun, "I don't think you got the guts to use it!" [Eddie murphy fires into the man's leg]. Eddie: "Anybody else wanna limp!?"

  • @8bobthebuilder

yeah that part was funny as well. the whole bar scene made me laugh so hard.

  • @Tiamat583 Actually he says: FUCKING HEARD OF HIM NOW MAN?!?!?!

  • @lakis97

oh yeah, what i said was from the trailer.

  • at 2:26, when Nolte picks up and throws Murphy backwards, is that in the original version? Been a long time, but I don't remember that being part of the fight in the released versions.

  • Yep that's in the movie. Then Reggie starts complaining about how Cates ruined his suit by "throwing all into garbage and shit!"

  • LOL! Fo' real? Man, I wanna see that scene so badly now! The fight in this movie really had me laughing hard.

  • @mastervoz

LOL! That was the funniest part in the movie, I started laughing when you mentioned that. Jack calls Reggie a little fucker and Reggie's like, 'don't put me in the fuckin' garbage!' when he charges at him and knocks him into the trash.

  • They shoulda gotten Nick Nolte to be the voice of Shreck.

  • I love this movie. Eddie Murphy & Nick Nolte made a great team. Eddie looked cool in that suit. I liked the saxophone music in the beginning of the movie.

Guy at 0:49 looks like Billy Crudup.

White chick at 0:46 is hot. Big boobs. Whooooa !!!

  • It's funny because half of the people from the warriors r in this movies like Luther is Luther again

  • another one of my fav eddie murphy movies. hes the best.

  • @Tiamat583 i found this movie funnier than beverly hills cop...but both were good.

  • @quincee33

    thats ok man.

  • Haha! The fight between Nolte and Murphy was so fucking funny!

  • 'You come clean or we're going again right here, right now.'

    POW!

LOL! Man, this movie had the funniest if not greatest brawl scene known to man. As a kid, I was screaming with laughter at that fight between Jack and Reggie.

  • Nick nolte is the man, most underated actor ever, this movie one of the funniest ever..

  • The girl to the left @ 0:48 is hawt ...

  • This preview had to have come from a PAL source, most likely a PAL DVD release of the movie.

The sound's pitch is too high, likely because the film playback was sped up to 25 FPS over 24. That's enough to do it.

Listen to Eddie Murphy's voice. He sounds like Nick Nolte smashed his testicles!

  • if they did a remake to this, Stone Cold Steve Austin would have to play Nick Nolte's role

  • James Remar, David Patrick Kelly, Marcelino Sanchez, what do they have in common? They are all in the Warriors and 48 hrs. Plus. DPK is named Luther in both movies. And Walther Hill directed both movies! Cool!

  • "and you still a low life"

    " yeah.... but I look good "

    hahahhahaha

    omg that was really funny

  • we aint partners we aint brothers and we aint friends!

  • great part when he's in that redneck cowboy bar fuckin shit up

  • Haha i was actually looking for that now. Just love it when he starts smashing the mirrors behind the bar man.

  • Reggie (holds switchblade on redneck): You wanna know what I am? I'm your worst fuckin' nightmare, man! I'm a (bleep) with a badge, that means I got permission to kick your fuckin' ass whenever I feel like it!

LOL! Man, I'll never forget that scene. Reggie was laying it down up in there.

  • bevery hills cop 2 and 48 hrs are the greatest films ever!

  • Excellent movie. I loved the 48hrs, Lethal Weapon, and Beverly Hills Cop movies back then.

  • great movie from 80's!!!!!

  • nick nolte and eddie murphy,, one of the greatest collabs in a movie,,, classic right here

  • i like the stolen pickup truck in the vary begining

  • James Remar plays Ganz, very under-rated actor-especially when playing a bad guy. Awesome film, non stop from start to finish.

  • One of the Great Comedy Action Movies....From the early 80's ; )

  • ROOOOOXXXAAAAAANNNE!!!!!

  • I wish Eddie Murphy would go back to movies like these instead of all those family movies.

  • Eddie looks so tiny here...

The Zag Nut scene still stands out to me...I actually had a zagnut candy bar the other week....

Note: A redneck bar like the one they were in, would not likely be located smack dab in the middle of downtown San Francisco...

  • That's where you are wrong. You can go to ANY major city and find ANY type of bar or club that you want. I know of at least 3 "Redneck" bars here in NYC and if you went to them you would think you warped to Arkansas!!

  • "Theres a new sheriff in town.....and his name is Reggie Hammond. Ya'll be cool, Right on!!" The scene in the redneck bar is a classic scene from a classic movie

  • Great Movie!....A Must See From the 80's

  • i still love the part when they crash the redneck bar.

  • just watch this movie..eddie murphy was much funnier before than now days

  • i watched that movie on 1986 and i still like it

  • -Look at you, you got a 500hundred dollar suit but ur still a lowlife

    -Yeah but i look good

  • -We ain't partners, we ain't brothers, we ain't friends, I'm puttin' you down and keeping you down until Ganz is locked up or dead and if Ganz gets away you're gonna be sorry you ever met me!

    -I'm already sorry!

  • Great 80's Movie...."I'm Already Sorry" and "I'm Sorry Luther Did That Hurt"?.... 2 of many great lines from Eddie Murphy lol

  • I watched this movie probably 100 times. - Ganz should go down as one of the best movie villians ever. - Everytime I see that guy in another movie I think about this charater he played years ago

  • lol. And everytime I see the guy that plays Luther - I think of "Warriors. Come out and playyyyyy."

  • dont forget "Ganz" was a Warrior!

"I'll shove that bat up your ass & turn you into a popsicle"

  • fully agree!!!!!!!

  • its funny that David Patrick Kelley's character in "The Warriors" is also named warriors. Its like it could seriously be 3 years later!

  • "You make more Goddamn noise than a busted chainsaw..."

  • Do you know songs in the movie ? I´d to know it because I like it :)

  • Eddie Murphy was the sh*t back in the day. This was a great movie , plus seeing S.F. circa 1981-82 was cool also.

  • in the movies the chief of the police is always a loud shouting black guy with a coffee!

  • I was just studying how the human mind works and when someone gos up to a girl and swears vially and the guys nearby laugh, its a painful laugh. The thing is that when you swear vially at women

  • It creates a hell of a bad scene. Because the guy is disgusted by this behaviour he wants to express his rage but he is so shocked he worries expressing his rage will create more of a damn bad scene so he then thinks to himself "What else can I do but laugh?". But there are some guys who wont give a shit and express their rage. Bottom line? Dont swear at women!!!

  • this was the best team up in all of movies. nothing compares to reggie hamond & jack cates.

  • looks funny

  • He sure as hell didnt look 21 in this movie. He looked more like 27

  • he wuz only 21 in dis movie... dang he wuz talented at a young age

  • i own this

  • He was so raw and young, this and Beverly Hills cop are my favorite movies of his.

  • What??? Another 48 hours kicked ass boys.

  • yep i agree

  • Another 48hours was damn good but this movie was better

  • well another 48 hrs. was made a little to late and it was kind of just a repeat with a little differnce in the characters and what they are doing

    i loved this one though

  • This movie kicked arse and it pisses me off to see that Eddie Murphy aint doing movies like this anymore

  • My second favourite buddy film after Lethal Weapon. Another 48 hours also was a kick arse movie

  • Yeah would love 2 see another 48 hours come out enjoyed them but because they killed the iceman in last 1 might not do another 48 hours again should do beverly hills cop 4 would love another 1 but would love 48 hours again

  • The sequel to 48 hours sucked and should never have been made, and Beverly Hills Cop 4 will be a disaster as well

  • 48 Hours is one of the first buddy-cop movies ever made, and is also one of the best. It started Eddie Murphy's film career and paved the way for Lethal Weapon, Rush Hour, you name it. If only Eddie Murphy's new movies can be as good as this; no more Norbit and Daddy Day Care! Please Mr. Murphy, do Beverly Hills Cop 4 and a third 48 Hours, and your career will be back on track.

  • I couldn't agree more. This was by far Eddie Murphy's best film. He was the ultimate comedic badass when i was a teenager, now he's fucking doing trite kids movies. I mean "Dave"? For fuck's sake!

  • from a youngsta...this is one of the best movies ever made

  • what is the song called when Nick Nolte and Eddy Murphy chase the bad guys when they're in the trainstation. It has a caribian sound.

  • Bus Boys "Boys Are Back In Town"

  • Whats the Second one called?

  • 'Another 48 Hours' a good sequel to the first one.

  • it wasn't really that good

    to late to be made

  • Another 48 hours. Don't watch it

  • James Remar!!!!!

    ajax!

    great actor

  • I don't see why everyone hated the second one so much. It had basically the same concepts during the film but if you think about the final gun fight it was clever. This one holds the tension because Gans shows he is above the law at the start of the film. The second one holds the tension by the soem what cheesy hunt for the mysterious "ice man".

  • although the movie had its flaws, it was still great

  • let's stop talkin and get to watchin, some one post the movie !

  • Could watch this over and over and...well u get the point. One of my favorite movies of all time.

  • Very good film. Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy are great together in the classic 80's cop film. The sequel's allright, it's just a repeat of the original. This one is the best.

  • I hear you my friend, this is a good ole easy watchin American film

  • The chemistry between Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte makes this film work. Director Walter Hill knows he's got a great team in front of the camera, and he incorporates some spectacular action sequences around them. That one-two punch of Nolte & Murphy is what gives the movie it's fireworks. Classic action movie!!

  • This movie was three years after Walter Hill directed the cult-classic gangs film "THE WARRIORS" 48 Hrs & Warriors were the best films Walter Hill ever directed in my opinion

  • pretty good movie you racist son a bitch. you just don't want to say that any black movie could be classic this movie is a classic you son a bitch

  • Did You ever watch Rich gay , poor gay ?

Children safe , California maggots dead !!!!!

  • Anyone think that shootout scene at the beginning was pretty sweet? Love the old-school handguns and camera angles.

  • One of the best scripts ever.

  • Crap trailer for a pretty good movie.

  • great movie!!! :D

  • One of my favorite action movies.

  • This was a masterpiece.

  • Whoa. Good ol' r'n'r and Eddie / Nick. Does it get any better than this...

  • Damn i love it

  • what a classic movie..i grew up watching it...loved it to death still today

  • The first and best buddy cop movie.
