@LoffleMe It was technically a mini-series, but there was a VHS back in the day that put it all in on one tape, making it a movie, while the DVDs are two or three discs depending on which one you get. But yes, technically it's not a show and it's not a movie. But either way, it's fucking amazing.
I loved this miniseries soooo much when I was a teenager... and now in 2011, there's a new show that reminds me so much of this, but is very different too. Once Upon a Time is almost like a spinoff of the 10th Kingdom... But I adore this intro and the song so very much.
I dont understand, why did Wolf go to NY with Virginia? Why not stay in the )th kingdoms? And why say: this is the end of the first book of the 9th kingdoms??
@CHR1271N3 From what I understand the creator of the story had the sequel planed out already, but he never got the funding for it. Or more specifically, the producers were willing but they wanted to cut the budget (and there for the special effects) way down, and nobody budged from their positions so the squeal never happened.
As to Wolf leaving with Virginia, well, he's in love with her. Not any particular place or time. And trite though the saying may be, "home is where the heart is."
@CHR1271N3 He still hadn't finished his story arch yet though. Yes he was in love with her, but there is a big difference between being with the person that you love or just taking what you want and deciding the other person will just conform. Like he said in the mini series, she's his first girlfriend, so he had to play catch up with her to learn how to 'be' in a relationship rather than just a pretty story. As to the singing ring... well, everyone has bad taste in something. *shrugs*
haha i could watch this clip over and over again it is amazing a long with the show probally why i was given it a few years ago after renting it for over 5 years
The book is awesome, too.

@fuzzysoxftw While the miniseries ended naturally, it really is a shame they didn't continue on with the sequel plug at the end of it XD

@wolf33441 Okay:) Sad thought, I wanted to hear more about them..
Yeah, but why couldn't he have gone with them before, instead of using the lottery money on a cute singing ring??

I loved this program when I was younger. The fact that I lived in New York made it so real to me. Thank you so much for posting this.
