What do you mean by "non-invasive treatments"? Is it vitamins, good diet, head massage, exercise or Minoxidil and Chemical anti-hair loss shampoos? What would you recommend to a person who isn't going bald but has thin hair that keeps growing thin and, just like yourself, may be a candidate for MBP? And also I've noticed that most patients who have had the transplants are still missing the temple hair. It's sort of creates a triangle shaped hair style.
@Trinder3467 A robust medical management program might include finasteride, minoxidil, laser therapy, good nutrition, etc. Every hairline is different, but they should be age-appropriate. A 60yr old with a teenager hairline...? Not a good look! -Dr. B.
@surgeonofnalts So in other words if a patient comes in with a temple hair missing it would be impossible to plug new ones there. Or is the fact that a 60 y.o. would not want it? And if a 30 year old comes with a temple hair problem only, will the given procedure restore full hair in those areas? P.S Would you say that Tom Cruise has had a transplant? Because HE really does have a teenager hair. He's 49 years old.
@surgeonofnalts If in a few years there are new patches of missing hair (in areas other than the where the new hair was grafted) do you have to pay again, or do they continue to fill in the hair for free? Is it just a one time payment or do you have to follow up?
I'm curious to know what price options are, or will be a few years down the line, I'm 20, almost 21, so far I seem pretty good, maybe even the juvenile hairline, but my dad is bald, so I've always thought that the odds are against me, but I may get lucky, just wondering about the cost though, because I definitely can't afford $10,000 at my age, and this is something I would be willing to do, and I don't think I'd trust anyone but a very good surgeon like you, will it be cheaper in a few years?
@AustinKay At your age, the key is to stop the progression of hair loss with fda-approved meds like propecia and or minoxidil. That way, you'll hopefully be in a holding pattern, not losing more hair over the next few years. Let me know if you have any questions about these treatments or others like laser therapy, nutrition, etc. --Dr. Bauman
@Trinder3467 So far, I've been using only non-invasive treatments. No hair transplants, yet. I do however, carry the high-risk gene for male pattern hair loss.
Nalts is pushing this a lot... Wonder if the guy is paying him to get the word out... I hate it when ppl sell out and dont tell if he was paid to do all this or not..
Nalts and I are working together to get the word out about hair loss and effective medical treatments. If you watch Nalts in his first video about his hair loss called "Hair Transplant" he tells you the whole story...

God, these days you can do what ever you want. Different eyecolors, haircolors, change sex.. Now you don't even have to be bald.
I love the 21st century <3 If you have the money, you can look how you want.

@surgeonofnalts So did doctor Bauman himself had a transplant or that's his natural hair?

Since I don't look any better with hair I'm just going to alternate between an Orlando Magic ball cap and wearing a crouched hemp basket.
But if I was gonna get that transplant do-dad-what-cha-ma-thingy Dr. B would be my first choice!
