  • good acting

  • vote Liberal ! Anything is better than Labor party!

  • Rudd's like a bad smell lurking around the labor party, just like the greens and they stink real bad too!...a bar of soap Mr Brown?????

  • Vote Kevin Dudd for more social degradation, high unemployment and debt, more HIV hep and other disease infected 3rd world settlers arriving here to receive social welfare and get medical priority and Government housing before all other Australians(as is happening),a divide and conquer multicultural policy of importing 3rd world misfitts into Australia over other people from skilled and compatible cultures who could live in Australia, and a 3rd world Australian way of life! We're not all braindead!

  • @MsTsarbomba If you are referring to to the refuge's that come here by boat, then I just got one thing to ask, what is your plain to deal with almost 60,000 illegal immigrants that come here by plane?

  • @robinalexlewis And all the other 3rd world fucks that Mr Dudd and Gillard has legally allowed to immigrate here who will require welfare for the rest of their lives, and their health costs to be paid for through Medicare! And now a Carbon Tax for the Banksters to choke this country's remaining bussiness to death! This country is absolutely fucked

  • @MsTsarbomba Ok then, if you were Prime Minister, what would you do?

  • @robinalexlewis Stop this Corporate Fascism from devouring and fucking this country (Heard of Coal Seam Gas? Heard of Property Rights that have been sidelined in this now Communist Country?) , Get Government out of our lives, and have a selective immigration program

  • @robinalexlewis Im actually just in the very small minority right now watching as this Vast country gets turned into a wasteland like the US Canada and some European countries that are now bankrupt and at the mercy of the Carbon Banking Fraudsters. I actually want to eat Food thats Grown in Australia and not in the Sewers of Vietnam or China under Kevin Dudds Agenda 21 Globalist Vision, I hope he gets fucked up because the Mans a traitor

  • I want him back, he looked and spoke intelligently. Unlike the ugly whore bitch we have now. By which, has done nothing noticeable so far.

  • Comment removed

  • @desher12 Why. Exactly did you delete it. Its still in my in-box. And you're wrong.

  • @cobolt13

are you kidding? he was just as bad as gillard the only difference was his rat-ass ugly wife, his stupider haircut and his smug, condescending tone!

i wish John Howard stayed in power, at least he didn't fuck up our economy like rudd did in a single month

we had over a dozen billion dollars in the treasury before rudd, in one month we were in debt.

  • @Mikeybetts I'd be fine with him too. I'd just rather anything opposed to that bitch.

  • Don't worry folks. The Ruddster will make a comeback. He was up there courting the leftie druggie drop outs at the Woodford folk festival last week. Talk about getting desperate for a crowd!!!!

  • didn't get us through the gfc douchebag. it's still happening. you just wasted money, which will be worthless soon enough.

  • There's an eerie similarity here. The Labor Party is democratic SOCIALIST and the NAZI party were National SOCIALIST. Labor are also members of SOCIALIST INTERNATIONAL and Julia Gillard is a Fabian Socialist. They put Rudd away before the election to ensure the vote, then brought him straight back as Foreign Affairs Minister. Rudd is working to build an Asian Union like the EU called "Asia Pacific Community", another level of Government above the Australian Federal government to answer to.

  • @ahay321 that's right, that's because the UN turned him down , and thats after they commissioned him hahah little bastard just cant turn a trick !!!!. Kevin now takes on the job as Foreign Affairs Minister a position of which he is clearly incapable of doing as he managed to piss the Chinese off in less than 2 months after taking the top job back in 2007 (must have articulated his Mandarin in the wrong tone) And now Steven smith has to give up his job of 3 years hahahahahahhaahhahahahahha

  • @ahay321

Using your dumbass logic, North Korea would be Democratic.

Gillard is a member of the Labor Party whilst the opposition is called the NATIONAL Liberal party coalition.

  • @ahay321

Good fucking God you have no political wisdom.

  • @CanadianPolybius No political wisdom? Socialism is Marxism, forced wealth redistribution funded by progressive taxation. No wonder they want a carbon tax, mining tax, flood levy, bailouts, and so forth...Not to mention a takeover of the "means of communication" like the (communist manifesto says) with the National Broadband Network (NBN).

  • @CanadianPolybius Labor Party is a member of Socialist International and you can trace their origins back to the First International who's members were socialist, communist and anarchists not to mention Karl Marx himself. Labor politicians have been members of the Australian Fabian Society which was inspired by the COMMUNIST UK Fabian society founded by communists including George Bernard Shaw and Sidney Webb. Labor are evolutionary socialists who are similar to communists w/o violent revolution

  • @ahay321

Or you know, they're a Labor Party. By definition that means they're socialist. :P

    And uh, whats your point?

  • Just ask the kunts in maribynong, we all agree thatf Billy is a ass hole, we all voted him in aftert the Tassie Mine thing, just turns out his an asshole

  • Not bad, but I reckon that my Kevin Rudd Downfall video is better.

  • Mrs Bucket LOL. Nice reference to Keeping Up Appearances

  • He shoud've said.

Anyone who's shagged gillard, leave the room

  • "Million dollar BBQ sheds!" nice one :)

  • I haven't seen Rove and Kochie in a while now...are they both okay after Saint Kevin (destryoer of the evil Howard regime) failed to even last one term before being dumped by his own party?

  • Alternatively, he could have used "detailed programmatic specificity" to reach the people.

  • Colonel Krudd was poorly advised by Lachie Harris. I've never known a single person to use "fair shake of the sauce bottle" in everday conversation. Maybe if he'd woven "dry as a dead dingo's donger" into his rhetoric he would still be PM.

  • I have read all of your comments and I have come to the conclusion that there is mostly two different groups of people commenting here. There are those people who voted for labor in the last election that are disillusioned because an elected PM was stabbed in the back, and then there is the liberal voters who see our new PM as being even worse than our last one. It would appear that we have a common enemy. Just this once, we need to unite to rid of Julia Gillard.

  • Pure gold!

  • hahah lol so funny

  • million dollar bbq sheds lmao

  • Amazing inside footage - from the 'bunker'!

  • I give this video....5 stars *****

  • I haven't laughed so hard in ages

Who ever manufactured this skit is an absolute magician

  • one day a rooster, the next, a feather duster

  • heheheeee - not much likeness between these 2 but the subtitles are hilarious;

BTW, does anyone know where to find the original German script ???

  • Comedy Gold

  • Absolutely brilliantly done!!!!

  • Fucking Twiggy! I thought I had that prick in my back pocket!

    Very funny!

  • @twofatbastards, "lying rodent gave away our future hand over fist in tax cuts" you obviously dont pay any tax, so go back to watching utube all day making moronic comments and playing with your dick while collecting the dole.

  • @twofatbastards haha hamburger and coke, you moron. what about the 100 billion krudd raided from the future fund? And for your education, infrastructure is a state gov responsibility all of which have been ALP for a decade.Costello would have realized the GFC was a freeze on credit between banks, a problem our banks were not exposed to, krudd and the duck treasurer were just amateurs who panicked and gave out plasma tvs & school bbq sheds that will take years to pay back. wow great plan.

  • Boy! Did Labor propaganda ever suck some of you folk in! Anyone with any history in this country knows that the Liberal Govt's cash up and then the electorate which has the memory span of a gnat vote in Labor yet again, who immediately spend all the hard won savings and surplus, convince us it's a "recession we had to have", and destroy the mining industry, as Whitlam did in the 70's, then the the long suffering taxpayers realize they've been roundly dudded and toss the clots out.

  • Cleverly crafted video...wish some of the comments were as clever.

  • We can thank the Libs for electing Julia and keeping them out of power for 10 years. Good one!

  • haha thats so right... rove went and rudds ratings fell

  • that was garbage im sorry

  • @walkabout09 furthermore it is a gross simplification to attribute everything in those years down to what labor did in the 80s. you also have to remember that labor had the incredibly stupid policy of indexing wages to inflation, which they ended up giving up after a few years because of how much of a cock up it had been.

  • @walkabout09 mate when labor moved to the right in the 80s and embraced the neoliberal economic reforms that rudd later when on to bitch about, they had the support of the liberals. if labor had been in opposition then they would have run a massive fear campaign about the things they did like the privatisation of qantas and the comm bank. howard continued the reforms of labor, moving into taxation and IR

  • "I thought i had Twiggy in my back pocket," pure GOLD.....i still remember them hugging each other after FMG committed to employing every aboriginal in the country. Way to get rat-fucked by your mates. WTf did he think these mining boys were all secretly pinkos and just liked to go into the desert to dig holes for fun?

  • That was as funny as fuck.

  • He doesn't even mention the World Cup bid......

  • Ha ha ha, funniest thing about this video is all the deluded posters who think that all there is to politics is not spending money and keeping it in the bank. Thats fine until the roads need fixing, infrastructure that was neglected by the liberals needs upgrading and people need to stay in jobs. Labor did a wonderful job of steering us through the worst global recession since the 30s. If that backwards misogynistic religous nut abbot gets in you'll have something really worth whinging about.

  • @19brendan81 Couldn't have said it better myeself !!

  • @19brendan81 Despite what you may have read written by some arts student in the Green Left Weekly, the only thing that kept Australia from experiencing the worst of the GFC was the superb condition the Libs left the economy in. We'll see the usual cycle, Labor get in and go nuts with the national credit card, Libs then come in to clean up the mess.

  • When you're old enough to vote, Brendan, you'll see things rather differently. Labor's idea of reform is to flush our taxpayers' money down the Caroma. Over $200 Billion wasted in 2.5 years. You'll think differently I;m sure when you grow up, get a job and pay taxes. Lots of youngsters are enamoured with Labor and think it's the bees-knees. Then again, they think the same about Santa claus and the Easter Bunny until they get some maturity. For the record, this is our worst government - period!

  • @carathool what an intelligent statement. because all the over 18 year-olds in the country eligible to vote must still believe in santa claus. And all the pensioners and middle-aged people must believe in Santa Claus too. After all, they were all in the majority that voted this prime minister in. Youngsters may be enamoured with Labor, and the greens, but kids who weren't old enough to vote clearly didn't vote him in, idiot. The majority of the australian people did. Go die, old person.

  • @carathool could not agree more..

  • Hahahahaha so funny yet so true

  • looking at all these comments here, i can only say - INTERNETZ = SERIOUS BUSINESS

  • As rude as it is, that was truly hilarious.

  • How Rudd was treated by the backdoor gang was typical of how Aussies react to any danger. Shoot first ask questions later. Gough Whitlam and Kev should have a beer together sometime soon. I didnt agree with all your opinions Kev but I feel for you. Thanks for doing the best you could for a bunch of mongrel mugs mate!!

  • kevin rudd is a bastard. he fucked up the country. where are you Mr Haward. please comeback

  • I could have organised my mates in China to organise a sub to spirit me away.

    Just like Harold Holt :P

  • dmcrowe this is a brilliant video!!!!!!!

  • @starkwebdesign

mate look at the big picture, you voted for a Party and not Kevin Rudd

  • @dtpater You still here? Did`t I tell you to fuck off?

  • This is what only half the Australian Public understand, we voted for a party and not one person, this is not the U.S, we come under the westminster system, wake up people, was Kevin Rudd your Local Member?, no , this is politics in its true form.

Kevin Rudd, only has himself to blame, next time listern buddy to people!

your own arrigonce has got you into this position

  • @dtpater Yes. Thank you. Now fuck off.

  • brilliant work of satire

  • HAHA Chinese Sub I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

  • I was always thought it was for the people by the people..NOT for the people by the unions and the faceless men running around the corridors of parliament house with cloaks and daggers under the cover of darkness...?????????????

  • What a fucking shambles the Labor party are, but really the 52.3% of the polulation who voted for him in 2007 are the real idiots in this fiasco. You should be ashamed at how easily duped you were.

If only Howard had resigned for Peter Costello, we would not have had to endure the worst federal government in history.

  • @zipmanify

yeh very good point mate!, I agree with you!

  • @starkwebdesign Well you didn't vote for Kevin, you voted for the Labor party. If you think you voted for Kevin, then you should have another look at how our Govt. works. And @clt1951 are you out of your mind? We would be going backwards with the Liberals, it would be the equivalent of electing George Bush with the advantage of hindsight.

  • Brilliant. Just brilliant.

  • Loved it. Don't worry Tanya you'll always have the housing bubble. rofl

Yeah it was all Rudd's fault, and now the party that allowed it to happen for over two years now say it's all fixed with one swift backroom execution.

  • Democracy is a myth. This incident proves it beyond all doubt.

  • @MrUltranuman

yeah, it is! time to leave the country i guess.

  • @MrUltranuman wrong buddy, this proves that it works, because Kevin taking the Labour Party down the wrong road!

  • @dtpater Did you or I have a say in this? No. Hence my point. An election was looming and that is where you should be able to express your so-called democratic right.

  • @starkwebdesign blame the system, in Australia you vote for the party not the leader, so they reserve the right to change the leader. I personally find that very stupid.

  • @Elmaln Why? we can be rid of a poorly performing leader.

  • @Elmaln You'd prefer to concentrate the power of leadership into one person rather than a group? I'd go for the group, larger chance of logical decisions coming out of it.

  • @ElderPurch good point

  • Ridiculous. Kevin was never as charismatic as Hitler - that was part of the problem.

  • @ofshoesandships Funny, as there is sadly a ring of truth to that.

  • If you think rudd is an autocrat wait till the Red head takes over - she's a commie

  • @starkwebdesign Vote Liberal mate.

  • @starkwebdesign K Rudd was an autocrat. no one liked him in the office. it was his pure arrogance that led to his downfall.

  • The Milkybar Kid has left the building.

  • I lol'd at that thing about red heads not having souls. x]

  • you scare me, you can't seriously want the mad monk!

  • I Wish Rudd would come out and act lke this on camera. I so would If i was backstabbed. "If i go everybody goes with me" kinda thing

  • For once the Downfall spoof is spot on. Rudd's downfall was mostly due to his autocratic style of leadership and his lack of any factional support from the Labor Party. As long as the polls were good he was invincible but when the polls went sour he had no allies to count on.

  • We'll miss you Kev. You may not have had the charisma, but your ideas and policies were steering Aust away from the darkness of the Howard years.

BTW only ideologically brainwashed Liberal bogans talk about govt defecits without the context of the GFC. My advice to you, forget economic policy and focus on something you're good at - like bashing asylum seekers.

  • @namexa Darkness of a surplus? Yeah those things are terrifying.

  • @zjrykoa mmm, 12 years of economic prosperity and responsible government spending were scary times. Glad Kev saved us from that!

although, to be honest I'm pretty disappointed that our elected PM was essentially removed by a bunch of unionists - so much for democracy eh?

  • @junkhello1234 yeah that is pretty bad ... feel like writing a new system? Democracy seems like a bit of a joke considering most voters don't care enough to find out what they're voting for ... and we always end up with a 2 party system anyway. A new system that actually worked would be awesome right about now.

  • @namexa anyone can spend shit loads of money when needed to save a Nation

  • @houseofhagemann: Again so what has Rudd done that was so great???? He inherited a VERY healthy economy and billions of cash to splash. All wasted and what is to show for it ?

  • My God. I am sick of any bastard who considered the Rudd Government anything but rubbish. Everything he touched turned to shit. BER. Insulation. RSPT. Plus everything else. Don't for a minute think that their stimulus spending was our saviour. Get real. Even Julia in her first speech excepted the reform of the Howard/Costello government. She new Australia was in a great position when they took over. Good Riddance to Rudd, and bring on the election. I'll take Tony Abbott every single time.

  • You people are so insulated from the reality of the rest of the world you think it was all make believe. But you obviously have no grasp of true economics and just believe the great lie of the Howard era that governments should have surpluses and should never borrow. Simplistic nonsense that has no credible basis in real world economics.

  • @desembrey I have a great grasp of economics. Tell me. Would you rather be in dept, barely able to pay your bills or, be dept free with money in the bank?

  • @1WhoSeeks - Your statement has no relevance to government spending and debt. "Great grasp of economics" - it would seem not - government borrowing is completely different to personal borrowing, and not all borrowing is effectively debt. The importance of government spending to avoid the nation plunging into a serious recession cannot be overstated. The total debt of the nation from this borrowing is small anyhow and there is no "barely able to pay your bills" involved. All Liberal lies.

  • @desembrey I strongly disagree with you statement. Have you ever heard of a boom bust cycle? A wise man understands the changing economic cycles and invests accordingly. Do you know that the worlds richest people actually became richer in this global recession? That is because commodities became cheaper. It`s called buy low, sell high. Cheaper in every other country but Australia. Instead of prices going down, they went up. This was the result of stimulus Nice try though.

  • @desembrey Governemnt spending is important, if properly regulated, which has not been done. The "small" debt we are now in is in the hundreds of billions of dollars, I don't know how you're doing financially but I think that is a big sum of money, considering the Liberals left the government finances in the +'s of billions, not the -'s.'Government spending', well the government doesn't have any money, just tax payer money,so what businesses did my money go to? Please remove your Labor blindfold

  • Anyone responsible for getting rid of that sneaky, lying, nasty, sly arse-lick Howard is a legend in my book. Rock on, Kev - we're forever grateful!

  • @reichman73 what you just described is what everyone would call 'a politician'. if you think kev is a honest man then he was just better at lying than howard.

  • @reichman73

I will eternally be in his debt for that at the very least-for, apparently, cancer's very hard to treat: and I find it particularly galling that a media contingent that was, to paraphrase another Labour leader, a conga line of suck-holes over so many issues over the past decade, so brutal over some worthwhile reforms-that they initially supported! In any event-AND I REALIZE IT'S ALL RELATIVE: the good guys are still in-and the Dark Side have an evil Abbott as their only salvation...

  • @optimusprimo69 and HSDDTS - you guys need to go see what the rest of the worlds economies look like. Go visit the UK and the US and see the level of unemployment they have now as a result of the GFC. Businesses closed hand over fist. The economic stimulus kept money flowing in our economy from the govt sector while the private sector dried up like a sponge in the sun. economics.

  • @desembrey - I do appreciate the insightfulness of your feedback. I did Economics at uni, and I get a weekly dose from the Economist, so I have a pretty good how the US and UK are looking. I certainly don't disagree that stimulus spending was the way to go to avert the GFC, but it was the success and efficacy of those said policies that I am critical of. All of them were rushed through and lacked proper thought, planning and oversight. How can this be justified?

  • too soon! but who cares! love it!

also loving the squabbling in the comments!

  • ozartblue, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, do you? If you really are so informed rather than just being the honorary president of the KRudd fan club, you'd know that even after averting the effects of the GFC, we still would have had tens of millions to spare had it not been for his failed policies - school revolution, ETC, insulation and the pro-RSPT ads he so nonchalantly overrode his own regulations on.

  • @naj1a - The best PM in ages ? What exactly was so great that this PM has done ??

    Home Insulation Debacle ?

Millions wasted on school "building" projects ?

    Emission Trading Scheme ?

Or was it the $950 cash handout he gave everyone?

  • @HSDDTS Believe everything you read, mate. Go on, I dare you...

  • Those bastards rat fucked the best PM we have had in ages so they can do a favour to the billionaire resource robber barons at our expense.

  • hunsta - how can you know what caucus means but not be able to spell it?

  • Comment removed

  • "Lachie Harris's media strategy - "use twitter and say working families". Brilliant!

  • so true.

  • Funny shit

I guess he got what he deserved. Trying to run the show without the corcus was a stupid mistake. However, even though he put us into deficit by spending squillions of our surplus cash, it is better to be fed, working and broke. Then starving, unemployed and a country with a fist full of unused cash.

  • 'Bogan electorates' - Brilliant, more please!

  • HAHAHAHAHHA!

Screamer! Screw you RUDD! This is an instant classic...

  • @Austacker couildnt agree more :)

  • Mildly amusing, but its been done so many times before. Say what you like about Rudd, but he got rid of Howard, and for that, millions of Australians will be forever grateful.

  • @amsadl Yeah get rid of the government that could actually manage the economy. Great idea that was. Now look at us...We've gone from over $20 Billion surplus to debts over well in excess of $100 Billion over just two and a half short years.

  • @walterjnr Managed the economy? It was a resource boom, my 13 year old cousin could have cruised us through that. Howard was a brilliant, creative politician, but has left a terrible mark on our history through the racist, insensitive policies he created. He was, and still is, an embarrassment to our country.

  • @ElderPurch Yeah managed to pay off Labor's last 100 billion dollars of debt. Seriously what chance does everyone give Labor of paying of the debt now? They have no credibility when it comes to running a balanced budget.

I hear that when Kev was OS Gillard's office was flooded with paperwork for proposals. She "efficiently" signed off on everything that landed on her desk. Just another big spending socialist's turn at the top job. She will spend big just like ALL her predecessors.

  • @zipmanify In a recession or threat of one, government spending is necessary. During the good years, governments reign in spending. It is no big deal -- its called Keynsian economics and its back in vogue.

  • @Steptile1 Well thank god the Libs had paid off the last massive debt so there was money in the bank. If it had been the ALP in for the 10 years before the GFC there would have been nothing in the bank to spend.

  • @zipmanify Agreed. If the Liberals hadn't made massive cuts to education and health then these left wing, pinko, chinese loving, north korean glorifying, UNION membership having hypocritical labor voters would have nothing to brag about.

Over the last 10 years the Liberals seemed to have had the uncanny ability to land on their feet and be in the right place at the right time.

I would like to thank Peter Costello for saving Australia.

  • @zipmanify 20 billion he left..in Nation terms, about enough for a hamburger and Coke. The lying Rodent gave away our future hand over fist in tax cuts. Didn't spend a thing on National development and infrastructure. Australia would have been truly up the creek if Howard and Costello had been in charge when the GFC hit.

  • @zipmanify here here, GOD but don't the labour Govt do it every time they get in, piss about on social issues to divert the attention away from the real issue because they just don't have a clue how to deal with the real issue, the economy is just not labours strong point, ...........wane swan is testimonies to that.

  • @zipmanify omg fucking people saying shit about so callecd gfc Australia didnt even get hit by the gfc i agree with every think else you said but about the gfc it didnt happen in Australia it was just an excuse for them to introduce more bad polocies

  • @Steptile1 We are in the good years, we have trend growth, we have low unemployment and still have massive budget deficits. What's the ALP's answer ? Tax the miners more to pay for our wasteful stupidity.

  • @zipmanify So that I get it right in my head, you're calling the Rudd government hopeless-yet are the criticizing the fact that he's no longer leader?! I might be a dopey mildly left-leaning citizen-but, apart from Labour bashing (as if the right side has proven lately they know how to run economies), I'm struggling to see what your direction is-apart from making John Winston Howard emperor...

  • @leonithe The world is full of governments from both left and right that have stuffed their economies. There aren't too many left wing governments that get it right. The UK is a mess, Spain is a mess, Greece is a mess....all socialist governments.

But I'm dealing in facts and it's clear that Costello built the economy that your lot is trying it's level best to fuck up.

Howard should have handed over to Costello and saved us from the Rudd experiment you and the other 51.5% have smashed us with.

  • @dunny29er Interesting references: the Greek government was conservative, PLEASE don't tell me that Blair was a socialist, and what was the economic legacy of the Bush years-and what side of the political fence was he on?...

No, I am tired of watching the ABC (because it's not just Brian that tells me everything I need to know), having a social conscience (like, I got a problem bombing six types of crxp out of other countries) and being called a Bolshie: does that make others fascists?...

  • @ElderPurch What racist policies are you talking about? Maybe you are refering to the mandatory detention of asylum seekers? That's about the only policy/legislation I can see that might make you think Howard was racist but if it was, then you may not be aware that Paul Keating introduced mandatory detention legislation when he was PM. Howard didn't didn't start it.

I bet 99.9% of dopey ALP lovers are oblivious to this fact.

  • @zipmanify Did Keating ever express the view that some Australians might feel uncomfortable that people speak Asian languages in the streets?! Nah, I'll leave that to the defender of Strine-"Honest John"...So, I reckon 99.9% of Howard worshippers might be at a little dopey...

  • @leonithe So I take that as a no.

Rather than make up bullshit just take the opportunity to apologise for being such a complete fool for voting for Australia's worst Prime Minister in history. Seriously you must be feeling hopelessly let down and embarrassed at what you and your fellow dopes have subjected this country to.

The rest of the world are bemused at our politics and can't believe we could dump a PM just voted in . You should be thinking the same, WTF was I thinking in 2007.

  • @zipmanify I'm not sure what was "made up" in what I wrote, but if you want to talk about the rest of the world (if their opinion matters to you), do you realize what they though of us during the Howard years?! Apart from the US and the UK, we were seen as the 51st Yank state, standing for nothing other than what big borther Bush would tell us to.

So, to answer your point-again-I was thinking "get rid of Howard!" in 2007. Mission accomplished. Has Rudd lived up to expectations? Absolutely not.

  • @leonithe Hahahahaha so now you know what the rest of the world thought of Howard.....more baseless opinion, your good at that it.

How about we deal in some facts.

Australia benefited enormously from the previous Liberal government. Economically they rescued the economy from the gutless Keating years. Keating went from supporting a GST then backflipped when PM. Typical Labor trait. All talk no action. Ask the state premiers what they think of the GST, they love it. Big reform accomplished.

  • @dunny29er That's an...interesting...assessment: what, is YOUR word gospel all of a sudden? I'm relaying to you what is on public record (yes, "the media" is more than the Herald-Sun). And I'm not sure your definition of a fact is spot-on, but may I offer you an opinion: Australia both benefited and suffered at the hands of the Howard government. Personally I don't like what he stood for.

Oh, and it was Hawke that dumped the GST, not Keating, in the mid-80's-just 'cause you're so big on facts.

  • @zipmanify You are sooo right my friend! I am so tired of those lefty pinko ABCwaching Bolshies insulting a great man and a great government! I mean, he never gets priase for ending ATSIC & Abstudy, overiding the 'Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Act', halving funding to the 'Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission'. and the Lefty wankers always bitch about the small thing of overiding of 'RACIAL DISCRIMINATION ACT'. The filth should go back to where the came from!!

  • @bedisraeli If ATSIC was a worthy institution why haven't we seen this Labor government reinstate it? Simple reason because it was a useless corrupt waste of tax payers money. Labor obviously agrees and sees no value in it either.

Over riding the racial discrim. act was needed to implement the NTNER but of course you would know that but conveniently choose to ignore it.

I'm sorry if your beloved rent seeker organisations lost some funding but that's what happens to pay off Labor's debt.

  • Comment removed

  • @zipmanify - good point mate, you speak the truth. Labor is almost equally as racist as the Liberals. And what you say about the NTNER is absolutly true too. My conclusions from these facts are simply the opposite of yours.

  • @bedisraeli Oh yeah, I remember ATSIC, all the commissioners pocketed the funds and the people who were meant to benefit got diddly.

  • @ElderPurch

In what way was Howard racist?

  • @ElderPurch You are the one who is an embarrassment to this country ElderPurch. Go and live overseas for a while and you'll see that Howard isn't racist at all. He was smart and perceptive. He actually had a good immigration program that allowed many people to come here, legally. But, he learnt from European countries and the problems they encounter with illegal immigrants. Grow up you fool.
