Yeah, TiVo and TVGuide don't have updated listings. Many actors that have left are still listed even though they're no longer in the end credits. My guess is that even if they no longer have a role, are some of the actors still on contract.

Apparently, the kiss was unscripted and a total surprise to everyone except producer/director Chris Goutman. Even Jake and Van didn't know. After the episode was taped, Goutman asked the two guys back to do the kiss. This might have been done to prevent protest.

If true, it's within character. They finally did something that's been pent up, so they're giddy. They are still teens, after all. I certainly giggled after my first kiss... part nervousness, part euphoria and part self-congratulatory.
