I answer that question killustrator. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. You can play it on your computor too but you need to find the emulator.

yeah it rocks. even if all it did was MAME, it'd still be worth it. although IMO, if Sony/PSP would open the hardware up for homebrew, it'd be superior. but as it stands, an open source linux based handheld with a great supporting community pushes the gp2x on top.
