My dad has one of these on his lot, and I'm doing my best to try and grab It. It looks like an amazing car, and I just love the clean look that it offers. I do however, have a question. What Is your average gas mileage?
@T0ughstuf Hey TOughstuf, it all depends on your commute AND how you drive! When I keep it in 5th gear on the open road without hot rodding too much I can average 24+ without much trouble. HOWEVER my commute is in thick Los Angeles traffic plus as you may notice I drive her very hard it drops to about half of that. If you drive nice it will get decent mileage but if you're going to drive nice why buy a V8?!? Good luck, let me know if you get it!!
@MysticDMBherb WOW.....quite the analogy....but I'll give it a 7.5 for creativeness!! I wouldn't let my daughter date you (if I had one) but I would have a few beers with you!! Thank you for the compliment!!!
@rikkiracer27 Haha no problem. How is the Bullitt? I was originally trying to buy 96 SVT Cobra, but recently I've been looking at 01 Bullitts...I mean I want the power of a Cobra, but I just love the clean look of the Bullitt and it's gonna be worth something one day. Also, how do you lower it? You can change the height based on your tires?
@MysticDMBherb I love my Bullitt! Sure I would like to have the power of a Cobra but with my lead foot I'm pretty sure I would blow up a car with a supercharger or turbo. I'm sure the Bullitt will be worth something some day but probably not in my lifetime. The Bullitt comes 3/4 of an inch lower than a GT but my friend talked me into Eibach racing springs which lowered the car another inch or so. It handles great but rides like a lumber wagon. She's been a GREAT car.
I'm gonna leave the front alone leave stock. I'm just gonna put the 17 in 10.5 in back. When I get the money of course. The only difference on mine is I have the cobra terminator front bumper and fog lights. Previous owner did that. And put the cobra fold in mirrors. Just the front bumper and mirrors are none bullitt everything was left alone. Nice car again I just love the bullitts.
Thank you! I put the Wheel Replica Anthrocite 17X9 in the front and 17X10.5 in the rear. The exhaust is all JBA with shorty headers, H pipe, Evol 2 chamber mufflers, high flow cats with 2 1/2" pipes all the way out to 3" tips.
so u have the deep dish. i have a bullitt dark highland green just got. best color. ive been wanting deep in the back but money is tight. i have Bassani mid length headers with Bassani o/r x with flowmaster catback. so im a fellow bullitt man here.
right on, welcome! I love my Bullitt (although it may not look like it!). Bassani & Flowmaster, can't go wrong there. Make sure if you are going to get the wider tires 275 front's 315's rear don't lower it. I did and I had to roll my rear fender wells and the inside of the 275's wear out from hitting the frame on turns. Kind of wish I wouldn't have lowered! But it looks good and handles GREAT!! Good luck!!
@TheSoulja123 Actually sir it is a Bullitt, #801 to be exact. It's on the Bullitt registry. I would have no reason to lie. I LOVE my Bullitt and I'm very proud of her. All Bullitt's have the GT emblem on the front fender but if you notice on the trunk lid (I know it's hard to see in the video!!) it does say Bullitt. I actually have it signed by the designer Scott Hoag who was at the San Francisco Bullitt Nationals. Why would you say it's not one? I'm just curious. Take care The Soulja123.
Very nice car man. Is that a civic? Lol just messing with ya. Haha

@rikkiracer27 if you only ran it at like 10lbs of boost it'd be fine.
