does the use of the water shield defensively like that prevent getting a gold?

@nitronzx As long as the boss is not hit by the special weapons, you can get gold for only using the Normal Buster. Rush Coil and Rush Jet count as the normal buster. Against Strike Man H, I used a similar trick defensively with the triple blade taking out the rebound strikers. Rush Coil against Sheep Man H, etc. =)

so here we have this giant enemy crab... and I'm attacking it's weakpoint for massive damage.

Since the eyes are the only part of the crab you that you need to kill, I wonder if you could use Rebound Striker on the claws.
