So difficult to sing but for Dear Lata Ji ,nothing is impossible.

Waheeda & Sunil express their feelings beautifully through eyes.

  • @yuanyuanyuanyin

Hi my dear friend yuan...I guess I may be able to help you out. "Do Badan Pyar Ki Aag..." song requested by gbss65 is actually called "Ek Chameli Ke Mandve Tale" and is from a movie named Cha Cha Cha [released in 1964]. It is available on youtube. Do include it in your collection.

    Hope it helps :-)

    Regards.

  • @spptube - Thank you my dear friend for the important information.

Actually, that particular song is posted by me under the title of "Rafi & Asha - Ek Chameli Ki Mandve Tale - Cha Cha Cha [1964]", more than an year ago, at the time he requested!

    I will inform gbss65 accordingly.

This is what happens when you do not know the language, I mean about me. LOL

Thank you again and take care.

  • @yuanyuanyuanyin

Oh if you already have this song on your profile then its well and good :). Its remarkable that you have an astounding collection of good songs but you don't know the language. How did you manage to find these songs in first place if you did not understand them? That's really a surprising thing about you my friend. And it pleases me. Take care and regards. Have a happy Xmas Yuan.

  • @spptube - I will answer in shortest form. LOL

Our [Sri Lanka] culture is very much similar to other Sub Continent countries and so are the taste of music.

Since we do not know the languages [Urdu/Hindi], we always go for the melody and melody only.

Many of the songs I have posted here and thousands more have been "converted" in to our local languages for generations.

Since we go for the best melodies, they all are popular in Sub Cont. countries, naturally.

    Hope you got the picture.

    Thank you.

  • @yuanyuanyuanyin

lol...understood...but judging by your id (yuan)...i thought you might be coming from a chinese background or may be from eastern part of India...hehehe. Anyways, I understand what you mean. Music has no language basically but its the melody that counts. Enjoy the wonderful world of music then...

    Take care :-)

  • @spptube - Actually yes, I come from a Chinese back ground. My late father was Chinese and mother a Sri Lankan. I live here in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Though you have not asked me, I should mention that I have learned music a little, both Eastern and Western.

So I KNOW how difficult/beautiful Hindustani Music is, compare to others.

That is the very reason why I have written the following in my profile.

"HINDUSTANI MUSIC IS THE BEST MUSIC IN THE WORLD"

Thank you, my dear friend and take care.

  • @gbss65 - The song you have requested is posted in my channel under the title of "Rafi & Asha - Ek Chameli Ki Mandve Tale - Cha Cha Cha [1964]"
