The awenser is simple. Comedy network gets paid for advertising when people watch commercials. If they add something weird to their own commercials people start watching to find out whats it about. You'll never see a cube in any other commercial but a comedy network one. If you don't believe me just look it up on Google people are talking about this all over the net. They must be getting a ton of people to watch their stuff because of this. Well that's my theory.

If you look closely, you'll realize that's not the same cube in the Dimitri Martin commercial and the South Park commercial...The Dimitri Martin one got a circle-like middle and the Sp one got a triangle-like middle...It'S not the same cube!

ive noticed this has been going on for a couple of weeks now. it tripped me out the first time i saw it and i figured it was just a random censorship crap with the SP commercials, but it doesn't show up every time. also i had only seen the brown cube show up during just the SP commercials, but today for the first time I caught the orange cube too on one of the Dimitri Martin commercials.

I wonder what it is. :S theres nothing on google about this or on here except this vid.
