i have this on dreamcast as well as a neo geo cd emulator it uses this track for the menu music mixed with the occasional neo geo boot theme and i didnt realize only knew it sounded very very familiar until i went back to my dreamcast cd put iit in the player and boom found the track

I wish they just made more of this kind of music. And actual games are hardly ever made again. Looking realistic is now the primary target.. I would say gameplay comes first. A game doesn't have to look great to be awesome. Look at older games for example.

Man this brings back some GREAT memories of being young. My friend and I would play Lava Giant all the time. It was great, late at night on the weekend, not a care in the world, fraggin' the hell outta eachother and making flag runs against god mode bots. Oh man I wish those days could come back!

This music is fantastic, no other word for it. It transports you into the ambiance of the level, takes you somewhere else and makes you feel as if you were there.

@Pretorious It's funny how UT did that to you. This music takes you back to those maps, those times you had, all those great memories. No other game has done this for me, and probably never will. UT was like another world, always new possibities and with it being the first online multiplayer game I had played it just seemed so vast and cutting edge. As far the soundtrack I regularly come back to listen to it - it's just fantastic. I too played with a friend - playing UT late night was best lol.

Epic sold out to the console makers, that's what was wrong with UT3. The previous games were all PC-only. No idea what they were thinking considering the original had garnered a huge fanbase globally.

yea..remember that wonderful menu system that UT99 had? Everything was so intuitive, and of course mouse-based. Once they started realizing the game for consoles they scrapped that.
