They have announced Darksiders 2, its story its going to be based on the same time as Darksiders. The events of Darksiders 2 is going to take place during the events of Darksiders. The main playable character is going to be Death, another of the horsemen. And he is looking for evidence of War's innocence.

@Linkcrc it wont be boring, because Darksiders 2 has a new plot, separate from Darksiders. Darksiders 2 also has quests, side quests, more weapons and abilities, longer story, etc (I'm not sure if it is open-world though) =D

I played the whole game beat the ending & my ps3 decides to freeze& I have to manually delete everything . Also the other 3 r death famine & I'm still trying to figure out the red one. Could be the girl horseman, could be life. This message is freaking long. BTW now I am playing darksiders 2 beat it again.

The other three horseman are Death (purple - male character), Fury (redish/orange - female character ), and Strife (green - male character)

use google and search for darksiders horseman for the offical artwork of all four.

War is in Darksiders. Death is in Darksiders II. Fury would be in Darksiders III then Strife in Darksiders IV. This series would be sick. If they made a movie on i, it would be even better.

Agreed with the video description: this game is GREAT but, unfortunately, seems to have been overlooked by most people.

Just finished the game yesterday and am now looking at some videos and walkthroughs to get all the achievements, Abyssal Armor pieces, legendary gear etc. It is, in fact, much more similar to Zelda than to other beat 'em' ups, where the first focus more on exploration, inventory items and such, and the latter on combat, combos, etc.

@Mawgrim It is most likely similar to god of war... Because boss fights are incredibily same (straga I noticed), his wings appear in god of war aswell, when you enter a room it closes and demon spawn, there are 3 types of souls: wrath, life and the last 1 I forgot. Among others there are many things.

War's honor prevents him from killing the last of Heaven's champions on earth.

Yeah, God of War - which I'm not even all that big a fan of - had a lot of choreographed mash-the-right-button segments in the boss fights, but the REST of the fights stood a pretty decent chance of killing you.

Look at all those storage tanks of health the main character in this game has. God almighty. Has anyone ever died in Darksiders?

@VysetheTard Yes, on apocalyptic difficulty. Man do you even know how much hp do you take from one attack by a minor enemy then? A minor enemy takes more than a quarter of your health with one hit, while semi-strong enemies take almpst more than one tank while those big ass fuckers take one storage tank a half of health. And bosses are annoying pricks.

The voice acting is so stupid in this game. Every time war speaks its like nails on a chalkboard. Also the story is stupid. "I would not have the last of heavens honor die with its champion." My duty may call me to raise my sword against you, if that happens I will not hesitate." These are some of the stupidest phrases that I have ever heard.

4 horsemen:

1. conquest, who is on a white horse, and he represents...well...conquest

and he rides on a white horse and carries a bow

2. War, yeah, well kinda the same as THIS War in darksiders, he represents war and rides a red horse and carriers a large sword

3. Famine, represents starvation he carriers two scales and rides a black horse, the scales represent the worth of food before a famine, and at the time of a famine

4. death, rides a pale or green carries a scythe and represents death
