  • This was a #1 hit Guy Lombardo for two weeks in 1941 (out of a 14 week chart run). The vocal is by Kenny Gardner and the Lombardo Trio.

  • When I was 3 years old, I would go to the Ground Round with my Grandmother. I would sit on the table and sing this to her friends. It was a very happy memory.

  • @lrh1966 3 different recordings of this song are currently posted on YouTube: the first one most likely conducted around 1920, the next one in 1940 (your version) and the third one around 1960... :-)
