Hi, I have the 2008 1100 custom and I had the dealership install my cobra speedster slashdown pipes at the same time that they installed my pro-r hypercharger and they re jetted it. Im not sure about it you have to re jett it when you just put pipes alone on this bike, but I had to when I put my stuff on. the only thing is thought that now when Im in the throttle and i let out, it has a slight popping to it because it is loading up the carb.

i used Dyno jet for my bub pipes on my 2006 midnight edition v-star 650. it worked out great. i dont know how much that helps, but it deffinantly worked for me, and im pretty sure they make one for your bike

harleys have a look and sound that is unique and desirerable. I have driven many harleys and metrics, but only owned metrics ( currently a vstar classic 1100) since I cannot top the quality and price of metrics. I like harleys also, so I finally settled on my current 'biike attitude', which is,,,these bikes are 'different' and yet both are great motorcycles.
