i got rid of my stock pickguard ond ordered one without the holes for the pots in the neck and middle from warmouth. moved the volume hole down closer to the 2nd tone hole. the volume next to the bridge pickup drives me nuts. so i eliminated the problem of volume rolling down on me when im playing....bad design.. but no problems now. i really like the heavy blues 2 and virtual solo. sounds great. checked out the BB king blues bite you told me about. good stuff...is the twin your main amp.

great stuff.....i was considering putting the heavy blues 2 in my strat. sounds good. i usually get rid of the 2nd tone pot and just run a volume and 1 tone rolled down to about 5 to get rid of the brightness of a strat, was thinking about running it in the neck and bridge then a virtual blues in the middle. what ya think.........mike

@98superglide1 The last setup i had on this partic guitar was heavy blues 2 (BRI) YJM (Mid) Virtual Blues (Neck). You can hear it in the video Chris Peeler @ BB Kingsds In Memphis. Currently i'm using a Virtual Solo(Brid) 54pro(Mid) Heavy Blues 2 (Neck). I always have the 2nd tone wired to the bridge on a strat. Thanks for the comment..~C.P

My Brother! It is so encouraging to see another brother that can shred. One question though how did you get such a heavy tone on a fender stratocaster? I notice that you have a regular single coil pickup in the bridge position (by the way I have never been able to get a good tone out of a fender single coil bridge) but you have such a deep and heavy tone, awesom man keep on rockin brother!
