  • My girl is kazas, she speaks russian and I wanted to learn her language very well can someone teach me?? if you interested in english or spanish i would love to teach you if you do the same favor :D pokaa i spasiba kazhdyi

  • Also, "Вы" is a "formal-plural": you can say for example "YOU ALL" on english, otherwise it'll looks like "ВЫ" in Russian Language.

    KiNO forever, Greets from Russia!

  • thank you = spaseeba

  • i speak spanish very well and english a little bit, and i want to improve my english, and russian if there any person who wants to speak in spanish i can help you with spanish so u will help me with english, send me a message....only serious people plz, and it would be better if u are a native english speaker, thnx!

  • I really appreciate this video, I have just started learning Russian now, in my first year of college. Although I find the language absolutely amazing, I started feeling less enthousiastic once we got into more "serious" grammar. However I will take your advice on this one and try to watch as many films in Russian as possible, I really have good feeling about it. Your video is really inspiring! Balshoe spasiba

  • how would u say ur welcome or thanks in russian

  • спасибо - thank you

    пожалуйста - you're welcome

  • Thats inspiring!

  • ok the guy mentioned listening to music before and while sleeping.. do you guys recommend any bands? the only russian music i have are from t.A.t.u (16 songs from them)

    thanks!!

  • by the way, can you tell me where I can get some great russian films, like a webite or so. Like Moscow Dosen't Believe in Tears. And other great movies

  • Man I want to learn Russian but they talk so damn fast and I have a slow mid-western. And the Cyrillic alphabet is intimidating.

  • That music is so cool, russian new wave?

Thanks for the tip and my new interest in kino

  • wow your video is great and you teach very well! Spasiba!

  • I loved the video. I found it very encouraging to continue learning russian. thank you.

  • KINO ROCKS and im not even Russian

  • Actually the Russian pronouns sound like French because they are cognate (they have the same origin). French is derived from Latin. Latin and Russian and many other ancient languages all derived from Indo-European (that's what the call it because there is no written record of it). Ancient Greek, some middle eastern languages and even some Indian languages all derived from Indo-European.

  • the cyrillic alphabets mainly derived from greek and hebrew, as it was invented by a greek monk, St Cyril

  • Yeah, zenmart is right that Russian has some similarities with Romantic languages and even Greek because of (maybe?) Indo-European. ты (ti) and вы (vwi) are like tu and vous in French and tu and voi in Italian and many words have Latin roots, it seems. And the Cyrillic alphabet is pretty similar to the Greek one, at least (А Г К П Р Т Y Ф Х) seem to be exactly the same. Interesting...

  • russian is similar to armenian . in armenian we have diffrent word or pluralize when you talk to elders and if you want to respect people. very nice languages both armenian and russian

  • Russian language looks like a France language or something other?

  • Russian language looks like a France language or something other?

  • French is a Romance language like Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, etc. Russian is a part of the Slavic language family, I believe. Two very different families and also Russian uses cyrillic alphabet, not Latin alphabet. Russian is pretty hard to learn but if you know another slavic language, it could be easier.

  • Spaseeba for this and das svi niya =)

  • i learned russian by memorizing

    all the t.A.T.u songs:D

  • ah Russian works like french, you got 'tu' which is informal and 'vous' which is formal (equivalent of 'you'

Tu travailles (You work informal form)

Vous travaillez (pretty sure u can guess that one :P)

  • nice work! How long did it end up taking you to learn the russian language? very good if you can speak fluently for a westerner.

  • А чё классно сделано, думаю, многим поможет!!!!!

  • I LOVE RUSSIAN girls and language.

I have many ruski friends and they are teaching me how to speak in Russian.

  • how amazing, i am a Quebeccer trying to learn russian, i've got english already (obviously) and some spanish, ive been reading so many russian books, Dostoievski, Tolstoi, Tchekov, Bourkhine, Soljenistyne... thats a good trick to help you understand their culture better.

  • I have it hung down in banner style because I get good coverage behind with back lighting. And even then I have to zoom in a little. If the wind was blowing to my right as I am in the video, or left for the person watching, the flag is then horizontal like it would be on a flag pole, just imagine there's no wind. its all good.

  • Haven't you ever seen the Olympics, where they hang all the flags in this manner? There is an ettiquitte and proper form to hang them in this manner and it's acceptable as long as the rules are followed.

  • Greetings from London. I'm trying to learn the language myself. Thanks for the tips.

PS: who's the closing music by? It sounds like a Russian Joy Division.

  • It's Russian-Korean singer Viktor Zoi

  • Thanks))

  • It's a Russian-Korean singer Viktor Zoi

  • Otchen horosho.. Prigaditsa tibje ruskij jazik..

  • is Russia your nataive lang?

  • No, After learning on my own, I studied Russian at Moscow State University. That and spending time in Russia with my commitment and passion for the language. Has braught me to a level of fluidity Im very happy with. Now to build on that and keep learning to hit and surpass new plateaus is the idea, learn and start again.

  • Way to go. Nice choice of music... Только над фонетикой надо бы еще поработать.

  • Awesome video, I'm learning Russian right now, this video helped.

  • just a thought - enunciate just a lil more & repeat the words. good vid tho. thanks

  • I like your video footage of Russia. When you say the words could you say them slower and more times in a row. English~Russian~English 5 or 6 times. Thanks.

  • Gosh I'd really like the name of the song playing in the background if you dont mind =)! Helpful video by the way

  • SHTO? lol i'm kidding you're helpful. Can you recommend some russian movies.

  • one more thing:

the flag is positioned incorrectly in the background!

but no problems. just turn it to the right and youll have the white, blue, red!

  • Hi, thanks for the feed back. I have it hung down in banner style because I get good coverage behind with back lighting. And even then I have to zoom in a little. If the wind was blowing to my right as I am in the video, or left for the person watching, and the flag is horizontal on a flag pole its all good. I'll see how the other way works in my next vid. I like the Kino cover Bee Dva does of Kykyshka.

  • haha. no problem. keep ur pronunciation!

B2 is a good man. for some reason reminds me of Interpol, but its much heavier.

its good rock. check it all out. and the movies.

what others have u been to? im from Vladimir. and Kirov, actually Yaransk. Ioshkar-Ola and Cheboksary are cities ive visited also.

  • good video man.

and nice kino playing in the background, if im not mistaking!

both of the brother movies are awesome.

i highly recommend watching "Brigada". its about the 90s in Russia and how crime dominated politics.

in music, check out "Lyube", a Russian patriotic rock band. also B2, who play the main theme song in Brat 2.

and check out soviet cinema! its the best!

very nice man. keep up the good work.
