  • cool im learning african drms at school for 8 weeks!

  • dont feel too bad because there are soooo many guys just like you....why dont you go join a drum circle you will fit right in and you will all sound soooo great.you will all be sooo awsome dude.

  • poor lady i feel sorry that she had to play with you and you think your that you were good. overplay overplay overplay get it?

  • this guy is an idiot. anyone can do what he is doing...basically playing every existing note space in the music. music requires dynamics, intensity, and most of all space! you need to let the music breathe, and by playing fast with no "air" in the rhythm, it just becomes repetitive noise. a good musician knows this, and obviously this is just another "guy with a drum". learn the tradition of the instrument before you embarrass yourself on youtube.

  • the"white guy"is over playing.he is forcing this song at a tempo that the lady is most likely anoyed by just as i am.he is playing and trying to be the star.true musicians play together and when that happens correctly there is plenty of time for soloing or showing off.funny thing is the guy doesnt have that much to show off.i cant stand playing with people who try to play like that as if playing louder and faster(and dont foget off tempo)make them better.

  • Yup, my reaction exactly.

  • That's amazing!

  • musique extraordinaire. j'adore.

  • I'm white an I ain't racist...

The guy is not playing the traditional style and I don't like either, but it is just preference.

  • i personally thought the woman was better because she had a much greater sense of musicianship..i also found it rude that the man played on her drum

  • dont feel too bad because there are soooo many guys just like you....why dont you go join a drum circle you will fit right in and you will all sound soooo great.you will all be sooo awsome dude.

  • im not racist im tellin da truf da white man is spoilin and rekin da tradition

  • wake up dude..traditions may die in your eyes but they only expand by other people learning them

    and learn to spell..my god

  • The woman has so much patience

  • how is the "white man" spoiling it?

  • i wish i could play that

  • It is soo easy go to drum store and have a sale man show u simple beat u will be hooked and see just how musical people in general are. I'm black and i have played w/ all kinds of people i loved espically loved playing w/ spme irish men who were orchestrial players we played @ a place called old town school of music in chicago. it was funny they thought i woudnt fit but i grabbed a irish hand drum and we rocked for about 45 min not even talking to each other, cool

  • aww c'mon ;) gimme a break "correct method" bs

    sounds good, thats what counts

    imho

  • the issue here is one of body, drum connection. The man is risking serious physical damage as a result of poor technique.

  • damage to him???? or to the drum?

  • Damn... Now that was excellent! All of it. It would have been nice to hear the girl sing louder but that takes sound equipment not often on hand. But very excellent, my favorite so far. PEACE.

  • This, is Why I Love playing the Djembe it 'Brings' out the best of the 'Human Spirit'. 5-10-07.

  • He disfrutado muchisimo viendo estas imagenes, me encanta el djembe, soy una aprendiza, muchas gracias.
