Wow, you must be one of the lucky family that even a baby lobster (BL) would like to be a member of your family.
Okay, I don't know if your BL is a fresh or sea water ones. Anyway, you'll need a tank, water, a simple and cheap water filter with air bubbling, and some sinkable fish food or red blood worm if avaliable.
You can go to your nearest Live Fish Store to ask for more information. Have fun. :@)
12 March 2008. One of my baby lobster passed away. So sad... and that's the pain of having pets when they die but not forgetting the joy they bring while they were still alive... :@(
So, treasure what you have and while you're having it. :@)
Oh cool! Guess what? I have two of those myself lol. Except I have an Electric Blue one and then a larger green one that has blue claws and legs, the guy at the store didn't really know the species of it so I'm still trying to figure that one out...
Hey this is a nice video, and your lobsters look really great, nice colours too;) I'm suggesting you add some rocks, gravel as a substrate and some water plants/sea weed so they can feel more at home and have places to hide. Also live plants would be a good addition too as they would eat some types. Happy lobster keeping!;) I'm thinkin of getting a a few too, or maybe some crabs! hehe
Hey, thanks for your good suggestions, I'll consider getting some rocks for them to feel more at home. I've tried some plants but it was difficult to keep the plants alive as there was no sunlight directed at the tank. The Orange lobsters live longer than those which are blue or dark grey in color. I've kept baby crabs before but they cannot live long. Puffer fishes are cute but watch your fingers and the water pH is a problem. Have a nice day. :@)
They eat frozen red blood worm and these lobsters are the fresh water ones but I'd add a little Aqu-Salt plus a little ANTI-CHLORINE solution into the water. :@)
give them a plant or something.. they r going crazy
ssips720 11 months ago
aww they look so scarred :(
SnowDropSuki 1 year ago
they are most intriguing. we should learn from these creatures instead of exploiting and eating them... they make you think...
