This war between the phone companies for your $ costs us consumers BILLIONS in lost time and energy by rolling phones out too early to use well, but able to compete with their competitors thereby succeeding in fulfilling their goal in making money, but failing miserably in delivering a useable useful product.

are you kidding me about the camera? it's fricking terrible! it's the worst camera on a phone I've ever seen. it's decent in bright day light. in any other condition, it's terrible.

@isurus - I'm afraid even armed with a $5,000 camera, it's still easy as ever to take horrible photos. Thankfully it's still an art that takes a modicum of skill to achieve good results. I found the EVO camera it's strongest asset, so maybe take a class on shooting?

Simple mobile is a company that u can take all gsm phones or let's say phones that use a sim card they are a 4g&3g 60$ ulimited talk text and web and other planes like 50& 40

Thanks for taking the time to make the video, i just ordered my evo, had to wait for my one year to end with my samsung instinct hd (very disappointed with it) so im really looking forwardt to playing with it. I"ve been searching around for some real life user reviews so i can have an idea of what to expect. thanks again.

Wow that's great that Qik works on iPhones too! Given Facetime won't work unless on Wifi, this now means that both iPhone and Evos can do video chat without Wifi. However, I have yet to see Qik work properly on the EVO or the iPhone. Shame on Skype for killing its ability to be viewable on Fring!

great review of the HTC EVO and good work of the video and camera shots, alot of folks complain about those features but its obvious some of them don't know how to set up theirs to get the best shots and video from their phone.

@79bnice wow that sucks i wanted to talk to someone who has an evo thru my iphone 4 the only thing i know that does that is fring. Iphone has facetime. Evo needs to make one.

@bently103 Why would the EVO need facetime?for one you can only talk iphone to iphone on wifi.and good luck keeping a signal.

@79bnice evo needs facetime because you dont have a good video chat system fring sucks no offense. I want them to bring out their own google talk. So evo owners can easily video chat just like us iphone users. Also my signal for your information is very good i havent had a dropped call since i got my iphone 4 i love it.

Skype is not longer an option to do video calls. Is there other way to do video calls from phone to computer? It is sad that HTC does not own a video call program. Please advice if there is a way to do video calls. Thanks

Great video even tho i knew most of this stuff any way, other than the shoe string on the phone, lol the problem i'm having is uploading from the EVO to youtube with out using wifi ever time i try to upload a video over two minutes it wants me to connect to wifi! i shouldn't have to do that all the time
