HI which helmet would you recommend for the best visability through the Cage from the Bauer 9900, the Reebok 11k and the CCM V10. Also which is the best for comfort and protection.
I've been looking for a pair of white ear loops for the Reebok 8k and Bauer 9900. Do you ship them to Canada? Also would I need to buy 2 chin straps also or does it come with it?
@FlexThatStick Can't ship the Bauer ear loops to Canada, but there are a couple options on the site that we can ship to Canada. Depending on which ear loops you get, you might need to get a chin strap as well.

@ggcko There's no difference, the model just carried over. It looks like we have the Large in stock and the XL coming in soon. The Small is currently out, but we can order it from Bauer. The medium is out until mid-January.
I got a concussion recently and wanted to get a helmet with more protection. I like the overall look of the Bauer 9900 and it seems like it has pretty good protection. Is there a big difference between the Cascade M11 and the 9900? Thanks
im not to sure if im the only one with this problem but i've tried ways to fix it and it won't work. i got the 9900 last season, and every time i wear it, about an half and hour in the sides of my head were the temple padding is in the helmet starts to hurt. can you please tell me a way to fix if you know? it would help out so much!
@delightedpantz I don't know of a way to fix that. You could try expanding the helmet a bit to get a little more room, but that probably won't help the width.

The limited gear locally in my area prevents me from trying on a 9900. I have put on the 7500 in a large. How close is the fit between the two? I'm on the small end of the large size . Thank you.
@RegnujNitsua im watching the lightning game vs Washington game right now (TAMPA FOR LIFE!!!) and i noticed ovechkin is wearing a different helmet. It looks like the 9900 but if you look closely, the bauer logo on the front it just a stamp on it instead of that rubbery sticker thing and also it looks like a hexigonal pattern in the little slits to see inside the helmet like its using something the m11 uses instead of foam. maybe thats the new helmet...?

@998uzi All of them are really good, but the one that fits you the best will offer the best protection. If possible, try on several different brands to see what works.

I read another review that this helmet suffered from poor quality control in China and that the new pads inside came loose due to poor glue jobs. Have you noticed any problems with this?
I just got hit in the hard not that hard today at camp and I have a bruise on my jaw and I think I have a concussion too because of my 8k and I've been dizzy the whole day and having headaches and a swore jaw. I really don't want this to happen again and go threw the same pain again. Would this helmet work? It's be twine the 9900, S19 and M11
I have had this helmet for maybe a month and i really like it a lot upgraded from a 4500 playing at a higher level now but the foam on the side really pushes at my head after a while in my game or practice. Is there a way to fix this but also since ive been wearing it, it seems like its fitting better. @grillmasterweber The padding in certain areas is triple density and the temple area is really thick as well. Those foams will definitely fit better after a few more uses.
@jasondunbar8 They are both great helmets- awesome ventilation, comfortable, and light. But with a cage I would recommend the 9900. I think the 9900 cage is way better than the V10 cage.
@swaggeneral17 The Z shock is lighter. I would get the helmet that feels best on your head. Both are very protective. I've heard many people say a cage on the Z-Shock feels very heavy and unbalanced. Something to consider if you're rocking a combo.

@998uzi The 4500 is a more basic helmet, but a lot of people prefer it because it is pretty comfortable. In fact, there are several NHL players that are still using the 4500 helmet.
Hey. i was thinking about getting either the cascade m11 helmet or the baeur 9900 helmet. i play lacrosse and i own the cascade pro7 which shares the same technology as the m11 so i know that it is tried and true. i hear that the cage on the m11 impares vision and is not up to par with the other cages. does anyone know if the baeur 9900 cage fits on the cascade m11 because i will get that cage if it does. plz respond asap cuz i need a new helmet soon. thanks.
@FlexThatStick Personal preference. I like the 9900 a bit more, but if you have a wider head, the Reebok may fit better. Fit is the most important aspect with something like a helmet.

@ThaGodFatha826 Get the 8k, you'l like it alot I dont think the extra money isnt really worth it, 8k is also a little more comfortable too but if you dont like the 8k try the 6k people who dont like the comfort in the 8k go to the 6k.

@IIExiiLedII I prefer the Bauer 9900 myself. Bauer helmets usually fit me the best. I would make your decision primarily on fit because if a helmet doesn't fit properly, it won't protect properly.
@xcrossxfadex The biggest difference is that Bauer redesigned the fit, which was one of the biggest complaints about the 9500 helmet. Bauer also enhanced the foams being used on the helmet.

@cup250p00nyou I have not heard anything at this point, but that could happen because of the cross over from the lacrosse market. Reebok and CCM helmets generally fit a bit wider than the rest.

@goinggoingcaught Most of the time the pros will wear what feels the most comfortable for them, not always using the most protective. The most preventative helmet on the market, in regards to concussions is the Cascade M11 helmet.
@AdlerMannheim07 That is going to be personal preference. Some helmets fit certain peoples heads better than others. If the S19 fits you right maybe go with that. The 9900 does offer more adjustability than the S19 so if it is not that perfect fit you can adjust it a bit.
i have a 9900 and it really hurts my head. Do you know if the RE-AKT helmet will be a wider fit?

I play roller hockey in Spain, and here goalkeepers are using regular ice hockey player helmets.
Now I'm using CCM 1092 helmet but I want to change it for a new one... What is your recomendation?
Please take a look at "ok liga" videos on youtube to get a picture what we are doing.
(I know you're gona say we are crazy... but It worked for 20 years with this kind of helmets for all of us).

@FlexThatStick Personal preference. I like the 9900 a bit more, but if you have a wider head, the Reebok may fit better. Fit is the most important aspect with something like a helmet.

Okay so, I ordered this exact helmet from HockeyMonkey same colors and everything but I live in Canada and they don't ship here, Do you guys ship Bauer to Canada, please answer soon, I'm getting this helmet for Christmas and I'm running out of places to go.

@CradleCath True. If it is a first time order, we do not ship to a different address. This is to protect cardholders and ourselves from potential fraud. You can always use PayPal and have the package shipped to a different address.

@ThaGodFatha826 Get the 8k, you'l like it alot I dont think the extra money isnt really worth it, 8k is also a little more comfortable too but if you dont like the 8k try the 6k people who dont like the comfort in the 8k go to the 6k.

@IIExiiLedII I prefer the Bauer 9900 myself. Bauer helmets usually fit me the best. I would make your decision primarily on fit because if a helmet doesn't fit properly, it won't protect properly.

@xcrossxfadex The biggest difference is that Bauer redesigned the fit, which was one of the biggest complaints about the 9500 helmet. Bauer also enhanced the foams being used on the helmet.

@cup250p00nyou I have not heard anything at this point, but that could happen because of the cross over from the lacrosse market. Reebok and CCM helmets generally fit a bit wider than the rest.

@goinggoingcaught Most of the time the pros will wear what feels the most comfortable for them, not always using the most protective. The most preventative helmet on the market, in regards to concussions is the Cascade M11 helmet.

but the bauer has the proved two piece construction and looks more comfortable.

@AdlerMannheim07 That is going to be personal preference. Some helmets fit certain peoples heads better than others. If the S19 fits you right maybe go with that. The 9900 does offer more adjustability than the S19 so if it is not that perfect fit you can adjust it a bit.
