i wouldnt say rigged as in 'someone paid them money to fix it' but i do believe there is a general bias towards certain players and positions. Simply based on the fact almost no back men in history have won the brownlow because there impact isn't as showman as a running midfielder weaving tthorugh a pack or a huge lance franklin mark and goal. Look at the recent winners, judd,cousins,goodes,cooney,aker,black,buckley,ricciuto and more all midfielders. So yes a bias but not rigged.
