If you hire ununion workers they work longer hrs for less money and you can maipulate thier hrs and ignore labour laws! you also subisidizing the cost on the backs of the employees, though some unions due take it too far!

@487shawn i agree with your statement, however i would like to see union not just construction start demanding profit sharing arrangements intsead of increases in hourly wages this way it gives the compainies flexability when bad time hit! its not a perfect solution but most companies that do have profit sharing can weather financial storm better than the old us against them philosophy of business and unions!

He blames Democrats of overspending but won't pay his own bills? Democrats may spend a little too much, but at least we try to pay off what we owe. Republicans want us to cut spending? Fine, we'll do that. But we still need to take in money to pay for what was already purchased and to maintain what we are still spending to keep the country afloat with infrastructure and such.

@ChaosDynamics Check the EU's numbers for more accurate numbers and still, take into consideration the debt per capita AND economic growth. Socialism encourages a policy of social growth. And I'll disagree with your statement. The whole "big government" thing is just BS the conservative americans are fed by their corporate-owned politicians. And by ultra-capitalistic I mean what it is: Taking capitalism to the extreme. We're a species, we should lookout for each other and not try to stomp over.
