Very fun video - thanks for posting a decent demo of this rare unit. Saw one of these in a pawn shop in Florida back in 1990 and should've jumped on it as It was only $25.

Wow, what a fun little video. I own one of these synths and gigged with it regularly until the keyboard started failing. Where in the world did you find foil-backed material to create the new keyboard? I didn't know suitable material was available to make a replacement. Great stuff!

Hah! Cool demo, I'd never heard of the 0400 before. When I first saw it I thought maybe it was precursor to the micro synth- i was surprised to see it was a standalone synth.. pretty cool- some decent bass sounds coming from that thing :D
