i came up with a theory that involves the book of genesis (fig leaves) buddha (sitting under the bodhi fig tree) jesus (many sayings about figs) ross horne's book (new health revolution) and science (figs are the most important source of food for fruit eating rainforest animals). i then experimented on the figs by eating mainly dried figs (same brand) for over 6 years now and found cycles which i related to the numbers in psgs 11/12 of the book of revelations. this theory has gone everywhere.
so far i have had eliminations at days 504, 840, 1176, 1512, 1848, 2184, and expect my 7th at day 2520. today is day 2369. i have definitely found something. i am not lying. what i have found has gone around the world and many songs have been written about it....the foo fighters last 3 albums......"vertigo" by U2 (my first name is phil)....coldplay's last 2 albums. an elimination is a day when you experience strong flu-like symptoms and feel terrible. bad stuff is washed out of your body.
Saw Wendy perform last night as support act for Neil Diamond at Acer Arena. She was terrific - voice still clear and beautiful. Has put on some weight which looks great on her as she always seemed skinny. Her rendition of Token Angels was fantastic.
@robandden yep I think you are right, I remeber some controversy over it when it was out a lot of wowsers said it would promote people killing themselves.......sheesh there are some tossers out there....
I had the privilege to speak to Wendy last year and I asked "why angles" knowing many of here songs are about angels. And with a smile Ms Wendy Matthews said why not :) And I couldn't agree more. Beautiful women and a amazing artist.
This song... in my mind says it all about a lost love. I watched my life sale away when my late wife passed away. Too late I realised she really did love me. All I have left now is the music. This is one song I play for her at home quite often. It keeps me in check too.
@Brithos300 Aw man, that's pretty deep. but bare in mind, it was never too late to realize to see she really loved you, it just means you have a bond so tight that no words would ever explain it. It's a bond that still stays between you and your wife until you are reunited, I'm touched indeed. take care bud and may she rest in peace. see you later.
