Many politicians will rhetorically support the concept of a free market economy, and then turn around and support a bailout of institutions and speculators that should have been allowed to fail. On the other hand it is quite possible that the collapse of the economy is the result of the easy money policies of the FED that allowed rampant speculation to occur. Everything was running fine until there was a 1/4% increase in the prime rate back in 05 and it was like slamming on the brakes at Daytona

@davehutchinson67 I agree with everything you say, but as a compromise rather than end the FED simply put them on a short leash that only allows marginal adjustments to monetary policy pending Congressional approval. Jimmy really was the best President of the later 20th century and it is a shame that so many people fail to recognize an honest man of faith.

Well time has shown that the financial bailout bill was completely and totally the wrong thing to do.

Time has proven the bailout to be a scam of the highest order.

The USA citizens are required to pay for their "Right to Work" - the Income Tax, which is unconstitutional. Furthermore, the government uses the people's hard worked money (income tax) to kill innocent people in wars. The USA tax payers are financing the killing of innocent people. Wake up!!!
