Yes,Yagudin's influance is clear and I don't see it as a bad thing as fars as he doesn't do it too much, but the fact that he chose similar and in 2010 euros case the same music just makes Brian look bad because people thing of Yagudins programs and Jouberts just start to seem very plane compared to Yags

This is a lot like Yagudin's '02/'03 "Racing" program--also set to a Safri Duo song, with some of the exact same moves.

The difference was that Yagudin had the showmanship and brashness to sell the cheesy dance moves. I like Brian but this was awkward to watch.

It's a really playful routine. Love it.

I don't see what Patrick Chan meant when he dissed Joubert for having crappy footwork. I think it's complex and well executed.

Nevertheless, it'll be interesting to see them matched up against each other tonight! I'm rooting for both.
