This film was filmed in my inner city of Paterson, NJ (although Paterson didn't look so bad back in the 70's). There were real life events that happened around the Catholic community. Someone (close to the church) DID go psychotic and killed several people some decades ago...a different type of crime usually seen in most inner-cities....
