I am from Turkey. I asked mom whether female circumsion is done in Turkey or not. She was even unaware of female circumsion word, she said circumsion is for man. Man circumsion is celebrated in Turkey and there is a popular joke that we should also celebrate start of female menstrual period. Joke shows the lack of knowledge of female circumsion. This barbarian African tradition is not common in any part of Turkey, even in Kurds.

That hadith says "Two purified parts" in literal Arabic, and this refers to the time period in which a women is not menstrual. No, there are not numerous hadiths.

@craigMellow you need some education about islam, there is arule in islamic fiqh that defines the hadith as only what the prophet mentions as a prophet and not as human, so many life details of the prophet have nothing to do with islam, they are simply things he did as a human who lived in certain place and time, and as any different human he has opinion and sayings, but to be a hadith and part of islam there need to be a clue (qarenah) relating this to religion which is missing here

Most imams suggest treating your wife like she is a queen. I am from Turkey. I asked mom whether female circumsion is done in Turkey or not. She was even unaware of female circumsion word, she said circumsion is for man. Man circumsion is celebrated in Turkey and there is a popular joke that we should also celebrate start of female menstrual period. Joke shows the lack of knowledge of female circumsion. This barbarian African tradition is not common in any part of Turkey, even in Kurds.

[Abu-Dawud Book 41, No. 5251] There are also numerous Hadiths of Aisha, the wife of Muhammad explaining how a bath is obligatory when "the TWO circumcised parts of a man & woman meet" Their Prophet witnessed it being practiced & gave instruction how to cut & not to cut too much, as that "is more desirable for a husband" So what ever Muhammad approved became part of Islam.---

That hadith says "Two purified parts" in literal Arabic, and this refers to the time period in which a women is not menstrual. No, there are not numerous hadiths.

@craigMellow you need some education about islam, there is arule in islamic fiqh that defines the hadith as only what the prophet mentions as a prophet and not as human, so many life details of the prophet have nothing to do with islam, they are simply things he did as a human who lived in certain place and time, and as any different human he has opinion and sayings, but to be a hadith and part of islam there need to be a clue (qarenah) relating this to religion which is missing here

@craigMellow there is a huge question mark if the woman mentioned in this WEAK hadith was even muslim. none of the prophets daughters were circumcised and there is no clear instruction for this to be mandatory. this is an african tradition, it doesn't exist in other muslim countries like pakistan,malaysia etc. also notice that if she had been a muslim women he would have either clearly said that it was the muslim thing to do etc she was a bedioun woman and in the quraaan

They didn't give it up because Muhammad (their prophet) approved of it in their Hadith. [Abu-Dawud Book 41, No. 5251] There are also numerous Hadiths of Aisha, the wife of Muhammad explaining how a bath is obligatory when "the TWO circumcised parts of a man & woman meet" Their Prophet witnessed it being practiced & gave instruction how to cut & not to cut too much, as that "is more desirable for a husband" So what ever Muhammad approved became part of Islam. again you lose. loser!

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is incredible. I have no words to describe how abhorrent I find female circumcision - the clitoris has 8000 nerve endings and they do this without anaesthetic! It's laughable that people claim Islam doesn't lead to misogyny. These men hate the idea of a woman having an organ whose only purpose is pleasure. I know there are plenty of good and kind Muslim men out there, but it's surprising given what they're taught to believe is right.
