This is a mission where I found that everything either goes smoothly or becomes a cluster fuck, mostly dependant on how quickly the enemy deploys at the various nav points and how fast your mechs are.

Picked up MW4:Mercs with the free release lately and just got to doing missions. Do you know if the latest mekpack gives a crap ton more salvage? Cos I got 5 mechs from this mission. 3 Osi's, an Uziel and a Wolfhound.

Maybe you just got lucky. I didn't notice getting much more salvage when I was replaying the game after getting MP3.1.

I like to place my shots carefully so it doesn't take too many shot to destroy a mech.

Ugh I hated this mission because you had to run around a lot and cover all your bases in order to fulfill the primary and secondary missions. Oh and if heat is a problem just stand in the water.

Not sure. How the game decides what you can salvage and what you can't, is a complete mystery for me.

if heat is a major problem then you should turn heat off on the menu...even if it a bit chaep...
