i rather have the old style wood stove if your not afraid to cut and split it and i can get free wood from just about annyware and its relayable and cheeper to run
No need to cut trees down. Pellets can be made from straw, leaves, grass, paper ect... You can buy your own pellet machine these days. By clearing forests of leaves, it can reduce the risk of damaging forest fires. Also where I live people are making pellets from tumble weed. There is an endless supply of biomass for pellet fuel.
Hey Greenmarine6 You are a f- ing idiot can you really be that dumb if you in fact use a pellet stove. There is a housing slump which has caused wood mills to dramatically lower lumber production cause construction is down. Should pellet manufactures start clearing forest in order to produce more pellet for your cheap ass. Buy the pellets stop your bitching and get a f-ing clue about the real world you cheap ass!!!!!!
How about Producing more pellets and lowering the price of the damn pellets. When I first bought my stove 4 years ago a bag of pellets was $2.25 a 40# bag now here in upstate NY a bag costs $6.00 a bag...how far does the greed go. In just 4 years the cost tripled..now gas and diesel prices are at a 10 year low but prices are still high you guys should be hung by your testies..I live on 4 acres and will be buying a corn stove and grow my own corn...so suck on that..
