  • What is the specific date of this clip? Thanks...

  • Feliz Cumpleaños Mr Don Murray

  • Don Murray was so young here!

  • Well that was awkward--not a very good segment.

  • They had a couple of children then divorced within I'm not sure but about 4 years or so.

    They seemed good together.

  • I love Don Murray !!

I love him sooo much !!

Don is one of my favorite actors since "Knots Landing".

Thanks very much for sharing it.

    Morgane

  • They were a beautiful couple.

  • I loved the Ghost & Mrs Mure, TV Show.

  • Daly gives too much away here. It's up to the panel to sort this stuff out. A rare mis step on his part and I think he refrained from doing it again.

  • What a beautiful lady Hope Lange was.I've read that she was a really wonderful person too. She is missed by her fans. She truly deserves her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Sometimes heavenly angels walk among us on earth for a while,

  • Charming. I'm 53 now, but back then I would have fallen for Don and not Elvis in half a heartbeat. What a gentleman and what a lady. Tk you!

  • Ms. Hope was such a delicate beauty!

  • Hope Lange was in Bus Stop too, along with Marilyn Monroe. Bennett may have forgotten that.

  • wow Sid was real good-looking in his younger days! (sorry, born several years later, only know him from Knots Landing, lol)

  • Love Don Murray , thanks to him and his family I was able to graduate from high school . A real old school gentleman . And yes a star for hope please !

  • Can you believe that Tinkerbell and Big Bird have stars on Hollywood Blvd., and Hope Lange doesn't? How do we fix that? (Don has one, in front of a Bus Stop, no less!)

  • Love Dorothy's dress.

  • kind of awkward: she lost the oscar; his name couldn't be remembered; john lost his usual cool a bit and said something rather banal (a rarity) about winning so many oscars they wouldn't be able to carry them. you'd not have to sympathize with miss bette davis in like fashion.

  • Arlene: "Back to your sack" - what does that mean? Thanks.

  • From Daniel 9:To be contrite, penitent or chagrined over something one has done. It was an ancient Hebrew custom to wear sackcloth dusted with or accompanied by ashes as a sign of humbleness in religious ceremonies."

SO -- to go "back to your sack" means you need to keep apologizing for a gaffe, or something you have done, as Dorothy Kilgallen did.

  • I think Dorothy may have been wearing a "sack" dress popular in the late 50's around 1958. if you google it you will find out about it.

  • I was in love with her when she starred in the Ghost and Mrs. Muir when I was a teenager.

  • yeah, me too. she followed elizabeth montgomery and preceded angie dickinson. (and the g and mrs. m. gave us one of our first glimpses of charles nelson reilly.)

  • she beat out Montgomery for her Emmy on Ghost & Mrs. Muir

  • Amazingly I actually remember her receiving BOTH those Emmys. I was a huge fan of GAMM when the show was on the air, and when I heard she was nominated, I had to see if she would win. When she did, she was quite gracious and said while the show had been cancelled, it had been picked up by ABC for the following season. Then the 2nd season came and went, GAMM was cancelled again, and when she came up to the stage all she could do was laugh, and accept her award. Wish I had those events on DVD!
