hey I have a question about xing cai cuz i got dw5 but not dw5 XL and i cant seem to do the c3 and followed by a jump charge attack. How does he do that?
in the game, at the battle of mt ding jun, it shows not romance....but something more like friendship...well i guess not. just a short dialogue between the two, Guan Ping says Xing Cai stay behind me, Xing Cai says you dont need to worry about me ya know
did u mean this one? her moves r good hehe, u seem like u didnt pay much attention on this game than the others hehe, anyways, hope ur horse one come soon. um... do not use the cheap way, like shadow or always in def mode cuz it doesnt realli look nice, good luck!
And ya, I only use Red Hare, and I rarely use L1. With character's who dont hit the same side of the horse, (so unlike Ma Chao, Pang De, and Zhou Tai), I turn the horse back and forth so that the strikes happen to hit the same side, like if it were Ma Chao.
So far, Xing Cai is the hardest to master character for me since her charge attack (the plunging one) only will do shockwave damage at the end. And most of he attack didn't do as much damage as other generals does. I need some help on this general as well since she looks like an interesting charcter to master.
Normally, I would go on and on about her disadvantages and how much she sucks. (but she's still one of my favorites)
But in XL, with the Dragon Arms, there's only one (almost fullproof) method of offense.
And it's as shown in the vid: abused her second charge or C3, and combine it with her musou if needed, else jump out of the recovery time of her C3 and do her jump charge for a perfect escape.
1. If ice is successful from her C3 against a general, her musou will pretty do the rest, and all, of the work
2. The only defensive flaw in this method of offense is the short reach in some of her attacks. But really....you should only get hit by arrows, if you master this. Xing Cai is way better in XL, but boring to use.

they either all die, or all end up doing the work for you.
you know what? maybe they should have made the leaders and strategist characters able to have like 4 bodyguards or something like that hahaha
but warriors like Zhao Yun have only one.

ah wait nevermind. Well at least that the 1 body guard is stronger than the 8 bodyguards and attack more often unlike the Private Bodyguards

Xing Cai's my FAVORITE character in this game.. I just got it yesterday too and I can't stop playing. She really is a great character too

there's a new item in XL called the Dragon Arms, that enables you to jump during charge attacks.
