  • I made it but mine looks a bit bad

  • @braedon96 thats ok, it takes some practice. Good job on finishing it.

  • can you make a tutorial on the daedric helmet? ^_^ thanks. badass helmet, im making mine right now :)

  • My neighbor is a blacksmith. He doesn't make stuff like this though. Mostly decorations.

  • @Jetmann113 You should go over there and help him with stuff. Would be fun.

  • This helmet really helps protect your virginity!

  • @TheAudfroidnator depends on where you wear it.

  • that black brown paint trick is really smart! nice!

  • I fond THE DIY Channel, you've got a new subscriber, thank you.

  • @loitho2 Thanks for subscribing!

  • That's really cool. It's people like you who make me happy and proud. I will now stay subscribed...:)

  • @MrSnake400 thanks! and thanks for subbing!

  • Now i'm just waiting for someone to do a tutorial on the rest of the outfit...xD

  • Paper Mache Helmet (Fine)

    Requires (1) Paper (1) Mache

  • Can you wear it?

  • @ervinkeithacosta2003 No, You eat it.

  • Tick Tock Tick Tock COO-KOO... Goes the clock

  • @MinecraftYognaughtB lol, good listening skills. Every once in a while during the taping of a project one of my cuckoo clocks, or my grandfather clock will start chiming.

  • Your awsome skill has increased.

  • @6000stephen Thannks, I am improving. This helmet came out good.

  • its great but doesanyone else think it looks a bit long?

  • @twiggyntuc Great eye. I thought the same thing. It is a bit long. I could trim it with scissors just a bit.

  • What do u do under the eye holes when u paper mache it

  • @25naga not sure what you mean. Just fold the paper mache in there. You can cut away any waste after it dries to clean up the eyeholes.

  • man i love your how to make vids i have done nearly every project and it works really well i think people should pay you

ps are you some sort of a ex or still hollywood film prop creator cos ur vids are very good

  • skyrim is the best game, i have full daedric armor :D with the 2 swords

  • I could beat Skyrim in the amount of time that I took on the frame! It looks weird right now but tomorrow I'll fix it up... Thanks for the vid

  • Yaaay!!I finished my skyrim helmet!!!It looks pretty good.

  • @300spartanswin congrats!

  • Haha i'm sooo making myself one :D

But how can i make it to fit my head?

  • @gamerdragon89 this is going to sound like im being cocky but im not lol, try measuring the lenghts of carboard to match the contours of you're head?

  • @epicfantasy how do you make the mache looks so smooth

  • @paperguntut While it is wet you can wipe it with a wet sponge. That will smoooth it out a lot. Doing a thinner second layer with less flour helps a lot too.

  • skyrim is so sick what level r u

  • When I click the link to download the templates it just loads a white screen D: Help?

  • @BringTatzTheHorizon I just tested it and its working fine? Are you using a Mac? Or you might try right click > Save as.

  • 4:11 koo koo clock!

  • @epicfantasy How do get your helmet rounded?Mine isn't rounded,is it because I didn't put the aluminium foil properly?

  • U should make a m4a1 off mw3 with a metal pipe for battle the wood for other bits and ammo clip comes out

  • I started making a guard helmet today and am really excited about it! Unfortunately I run out of aluminum foil... Have to buy some more tomorrow. Anyways, this tutorial has been really helpful so far, thanks a lot!

  • @Sharei32 cool, send me a pic when its done! I might do another skyrim helmet.

  • Real Steel

  • now smith one out of iron >:D

  • Can you make a full armor of the Dragonborn from Skyrim?

  • @Ivchovan kill a few bears and make hide armor. easy!

  • use real steel :D

  • Wonder what my mates would be like if i wore that to school tomorrow lol

  • @epicfantasy I'm making the helmet, but I do not have enough cereal boxes, is there any other material that can replace the cardboard boxes of cereal? If not, have any other box that has the type of cardboard? Thanks

  • @12Nazuca There are lots of cardboards that will work. Got to look around, packing boxes, the cover from Spiral bound notebooks. etc.

  • Fus ro DAH! *sigh* Dammit I just finished that!

  • @epicfantasy i have all of the materials exept the hot glur hun......what should i use?

  • @klintbisha You can use regular white glue. Put a lot of glue then tape over it to hold the horns in place while it dries.

  • Thanks for the awser

  • @epicfantasy One question, the paper mache instead of flour can be used glue? And the hot glue gun? What can be used instead of it?

  • @12Nazuca You can use the glue method instead of flour. A really strong tape like duct tape would probably work instead of the gluegun. You might try the white glue. THat would work if you give it time to dry before putting on the second layer.

  • nice helmet but what if you take an arrow to the knee ? :>

  • thank you for this good tutorial.

  • you should try making a daedric helmet

  • lol paper.. I made one out of metal

  • @epicfantasy I measured the cereal box cardboard and the helmet. It was actually easy because I used a bendy ruler. But mine isn't finished and doesn't look yours.Mine looks a bit stupid. There's this two sides that looks as if someone bashed it.Might look good.

  • You are amazing greeting from Macedonia the land of Alexander, I already make my own helmet as spartian and a bit diffrent! Keep up!

  • How not to get a girlfriend? step one watch this video

lol nar just jokeing man epic Helmet i love it :D

  • @CalmDraven Lydia loves this helmet :)

  • @epicfantasy Can you maybe do a series of tutorials on the different batman gear?

  • Nice work. To distract from all the terrible Skyrim meme comments, might I add one amusing one:

'I used to play Skyrim, but then I took a vagina to the penis'.

  • Did you use strips of cardboard that make the head band, from temple to temple and from front to back from the template?

  • @300spartanswin yes, strips of cereal box or cardboard, you have to make those up though. They are not in the template.

  • you sound like lou ferrigno

  • Have you thought about using plaster cloth rather than paper mâché? I like it better because other than it's price it's (in my opinion) better. It is stronger than mâché

  • @atkat46 Great comment. Plaster cloth works very well and is very strong. I use the paper mache because its cheap and easilly available. Gives more people a chance to make the project.

  • @epicfantasy thanks for responding

  • KOEKOEK op 4:12

  • @epicfantasy Can you pleeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssseeee make a video of you wearing the helmet before you give it away or something!

  • @epicfantasy Newspapers worked better.But I have a question.Why are paper towels a bit better?

  • @300spartanswin They are softer so they form nicer curves. newspapers are a bit stiffer.

  • can i use a balloon?

    btw great project

  • @cooldude5227 Yes, a balloon would work well.

  • l o l

  • Video number 420 :D

  • I'm going to kill a bull and take his horns and mix it with reinforced black steel and I'll become Dovakhiin :D

  • @epicfantasy Wow!Using paper towels for the paper mache is difficult. It keeps on tearing apart. What should I do?

  • @300spartanswin keep at it! you can buy more durable paper towels like bounty. Or you can use strips of newspaper instead. Even brown paper bags work well.

  • Do you have any tips on making a Spangenhelm?

  • Please do how to make the blades sword

  • How come you didn't use a balloon like your Magneto Hemet. But still, good.

  • @Dragon1813 thanks, you know my vids! The balloon would work great for this project too. I just wanted to try another technque to see how it would go. It works well.

  • @epicfantasy Fair enough. Good Job!

  • When you get 90 smithing make sure to make a set of daedric

  • Because of you i can now relive my childhood fantasies of actually having the weapons or armour i have fascinated over, thank you man.

  • Looks great Will, I love the way you offer templates for a lot of your creations.

  • you should show us how to make a batarang or something but out of metal

  • Comment removed

  • Very cool helmet, what level and class(Mage, warrior, thief) are you in skyrim?

  • @demnwarrior7 um i took arows in my knee and my hands if this explains it

  • @comediancj1999 its still not stopping you from using your hands, unless you type with you're toes.

  • i used to use paper but then i took andsdfnshaegjio4;npewuipbtuiwefuvebfibuirbvoe sorry the dovakin raped my ass

  • paper helmet you mean

  • No comment relating to an arrow in the knee yet? Don't worry, it's coming.

Good job on the helmet, not too shabby for a cereal box and Papier-mâché!

  • I always wondered, how hard is it to make a real iron helmet, and how did they make such a big curve? could you maybe make short film about metal forging armor?

  • @MrBebopKid They would heat the metal until it was red hot, and then they would form it by hammering until they got the desired shape. Then it would be cooled in water. After it would be quenched, typically through plunging it into molten salt, then removed and plunged into cooler (but still somewhat hot) salt, and finally plunged into water again to get the proper hardness of the metal.

  • Very nice job...love your videos:)

  • very cool

  • that is AWESOME!!!!!!

  • GODS BE PRAISED

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much, how do you make the paper mache smoth? when ever i make it it gets lumpy
