well i guess it really just boils down to preference then. I'm happy with my mac, it was worth the money. To me it's a lot more reliable then any pc ive ever had. And i like mac osx over windows.

I use final cut studio for video editing also, pc doesnt have that.

but yea you could get a well made pc for less, but it's up to the users.

Yeah, i have to give Macs a thumb's up for video editing. But i have a AlienWare running windows media canter and windows vista (Dual boot). But macs lack in The gaming industry, i own a mac as well, i only use it to edit videos.

It comes down to components. I disassembled my 2007 MacBook Pro for cleaning. Dude. The fucking hard drive brackets were magnesium. MAGNESIUM. I know it wasn't aluminum because it was lighter and stronger.

That's why we buy Apple. Also, it's as much of an OS issue for me as anything. I ABHORRED Macintosh; I used Windows from 3.1 to XP. I know how to repair registry keys, etc. But I got tired of something in Windows inevitably screwing up. And 4 years later? I'll never go back.
