AWESOM!!!! That looks like so much fun. I want to be in the next one, but the website is playing funny buggers and I cant sign up, how do I get in on this, HELP ME PLEASE!!! Nik.mwa
This song was an African themed track mixed especially for this mob dance with bits of Michael Jackson added in. We don't have a copy of the whole track as there isn't one. African dance workshops were part of the Summer Fun in the City progam of events hence the inclusion of this track in the mob dance which was performed 4 times to promote the event.

More Council wankers spending their time adding "events" to their resume rather than cleaning the streets and providing the sort of local services they are expected to do.
oforbesy - compare apples with apples. T mobile was a huge project that in my est cost well over $250K likely more. All professionals - over 10,000 were auditioned over an 8 week period for 400 spots. 10 camera broadcast quality shoot & best editing available. MCC budget was $24K and only 6 professional dancers. Songs chosen specifically to compliment dance workshops offered at the free program of events they were promoting. Would you say T mobile was 10 times better - didn't think so?!?
I hate to be a downer, but this is so crap compared to so many other "flash mob" videos on facebook! Poor effort Melbourne! Bad dancing, bad songs, bad camera work. The best one is T-Mobile one in London!
@oforbesy You don't get it...the London one was trained dancers and a massive commercial production and plug for a huge brand. These guys were just regular people, not trained dancers, who wanted to have fun as part of a free program of events in Melbourne during summer.
@SuperSJane I completely understand that. I'm just saying, it's crap compared to the T-Mobile one. They could have done a way better job of it. Maybe I just expected too much from the Melbourne City Council.
