Just one thing, if you are going to use multiple rooms, your variable "ammo" is going to reset evertime to 0 when your object is created in a new room.

This is great! I really like how you explain what the actions do, it's really helpful!

What if you wanted the character to hold the gun though and have it change direction with the character? Like you wanted it to face left when the character does? Or you wanted to use a sword or something like that?

hey man i really liked all your videos ! You really helped me out, i like the fact that you explain each thing and how they relate to eachother, i think thats very important since anyone can copy, but if you can get them to understand why, then they are less likely to forget the steps ! I was also wondering if you knew how to make an enemy ai ! Something very basic just something you have to avoid so actually just something that walks back and forth !

When i tried this it said there was an error and the dir is a unknown variable

in the create event of your player, drag in the set variable button and type in dir and 0. Sorry, this video is based off my other ones, and that was already explained.
