  • Am i the only one, that as i hear this music, I think of specific parts of the film where this music is played and I can imagine the scenes happening :D

  • @JONNOG88

Completely agree. The remake of the wickerman was atrocious I watched maybe 10 mins and had to turn it off, I found out other parts of the film through word of mouth.

    Zulu should never be remade.

  • @horselips you doooo know when the zulu wars was dont you ????????????????? it was 1879 oh three years later they become the south wales borderers god i have ago about the yanks not knowing history or not getting facts right but this is bloody daft dont take my word for it look up british regs for gods sake

  • @horselips you doooo know when the zulu wars was dont you ?????????????????

  • Note to Hollywood: Don't remake this film, or by God there'll be a 'Rourke's Drift' carried out on ye.

  • @bigfellalixnaw

I agree with ye. I know I am kind of comparing apples and Oranges here. But if it was as atrocious as the Wicker Man remake of recent years with Nicolas Cage. And would get my Martini Henry ready

  • Movie is based on ACTUAL events! It remains one of my all time favorites. The sound track is truly as inspiring as the events told in the movie. Thank you for posting.

  • Agaianst Africa's Spartans, only such Welshmen would do. God Save The Queen.

  • @horselips At the time of the battle the designation of the 24th Regiment was 2nd Warwickshires, they didn't assume the title South Wales Borderers until 1st July 1881 even though they had had their Regimental Depot at Brecon since 1873. As Ian Knight has pointed out only 15% of the garrison at the Drift had any connection with Wales. Yours, a Welshman, but one who prefers facts over fantasy.

  • @YaxKukMo1426 Thanks for the info. the Men of Harlech scene led me astray.

  • @horselips same it was the 2 battalion the warwicks then better read you history taff

  • @horselips oh and just for the record 24 24th Regiment of Foot 1751–1782

    24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot 1782–1881[50] 1689

Raised 8 March 1689 as Sir Edward Dering's Regiment of Foot.[50] 1881: The South Wales Borderers

  • @horselips

Your kind of right, Henry Rider Hoggard, the novelist described the Zulu's as "The Romans of Africa"
