Giant boots? Are you even a Megaman fan? Megaman always had giant boots. It just never showed on the old games because NES's 8-bit graphics would make for a very ugly broken sprite. You can look at artworks for old Megaman, he always he incredibly large boots and arms. X actually looks in proportions copared to classic.
And the helment is great. CAPCOM lost their touch after PS2, not SNES, which Megaman X was on, also.
This song song should play in every part where Wily fights you, then when he gets in Hyper Boss Mode, it should play it with more bass and drums and echo.
