Review: Shiseido Pureness Skincare Line

I was wondering, after you used the Shiseido Pureness balancing softener do you cleans it off or let it stay on when you take the moisturizing gel-cream on? I use the product but I don't know if i cleans it of or not! :)

@xCelina94 no need to cleans it off! It's like a toner, it prepares your face for the moisturizer. Just wait a few sec for your skin to absorb it, before applying the moisturizer x

I like the cleanser and softener, the lotion is much to drying for me though. Just a word of warning, if your skin is more on the normal side, the lotion can be VERY drying.

To make it cheaper, you can choose NOT to buy the toner, because it does not help that much... BUT, then you can make your own, with natural ingrediens (search on YouTube) if you do want one ^_^

The Shiseido is an amazing brand. I have a great experiance with Pureness line. I am using Lancome at the moment, but I will go back to use Shiseido.

Hey I really like your review. I also bought this pureness line today. I wanted to ask you a question. Can I use the deep cleansing foam on my eyelids? I mean like can I use it to clean my eye area? Is it gentle enough for that? Please let me know :)

@Alix7861 I've never used it on my eye lids and I would advice you not to do that.Use something very gentle and specific for the eyes! I think you'll even find it written in the instuctions, that this cleansing foam isn't meant to be used on the eye lids, so avoid the eye area.

@MissWindSweet I'd said the shiseido one. it helped me a lot when I had lots of blemishes. clinique is ok to maintain the result! :)

Thanks for the review! :) I got samples of the whole pureness line and I have to say I LOVE it. I'm glad to see that others like Shiseido too. I was going to see other reviews before buying the full size!

The best part is that Shiseido doesn't test on animals :)

I just wish it wasn't so expensive though.

@helenbubz Yes, it's sensitive in terms that it breaks out so easily if I don't use the right products. I don't have any problems with redness or allergies, but I always try to use a good quality products.

@eipysgudps yeah i've tried it.  and i have combination skin and i've just starting using that and the lotion and i'm worrying that it might be SO effective that it's drying out my skin. and we all know dry skin and expressions equal wrinkles!

@gengarrules777 I don't think these products will cause you to have a dry skin. They're not that harsh, they're balancing& hydrating as well. I hope they'll work out for you!

@MissFitz1981 I didn't pay attention whether it contains SPF. When I go out I usually wear, on top of my Shiseido moisturizer, a tinted moisturizer, liquid foundation or compact powder that contain SPF. If I'm going to spend the day at the beach then I usually go for a specific sun care products.

why you use the pureness line? do you have acne problems? The cleanser has salisic acid?

@cat22203 It's the only skin care line that helps keep my skin clear- I have a tendency to breakouts and blemishes...But I also use products from herbalist store& try to eat healthy in order to maintain my skin clear. I know that Shiseido blemish clearing gel and Anti Shine Refreshing lotion contain salicylic acid to prevent & reduce acne but I use only the Balancing Softener as my toner/lotion.
