I was there - We all thought one person would get flights - not the whole restaurant. Hence the shock. It was an excellent night and I'm grateful to have been introduced to NZ products that I otherwise wouldnt have known about. The flight was a complete surprise and bonus. And I'm just an average joe!

I live in Melbourne and if I had of known about the pop up in time and been there on both events would be smiling instead of getting a little teary. oh well I still have my Aotearoa jade green tattoo where ever I go from my last visit to Welly:) BTW I ALWAYS FLY WITH AIR NZ.

LMAO! Everyone is looking around the restaurant so confused like, "WTF is going on?? This is REALLY strange." And then when they announced the free flights, you can see the guests reactions change so quickly as they start cheering and clapping. Haha.
