  • you record your bass straight through your computer?

i have a mac and i would like to record my bass through it but i don't know how

    any tips?

    thanks

  • nice but I still can't get the high C. My 5 has 26 fretts and the g string sounds better playin the same note in a higher position than any 6 I've played

  • @nephilymbass First of all thats a stupid comment, becouse you can get more notes out of a 6 string bass, second ofcourse the notes that are the same will sound better on a thicker string. third, I dont see any video of you playing a bass at all. And just as an extra, I doubt you have ever played a Smith bass...

  • @xxxthebassmanxxx You right, and rude as well!!

I dont like your attitude dude!!

but I love your bass haha!!

I currently have a Marcus Miller 5 string, I'm going for a Smith just like yours!! I'm in love with that unique sound!! Nice playing by the way!!

  • @xxxthebassmanxxx E min7 u wrote .do i have to learn wht these scales mean ?

  • @nephilymbass G string, ha?

  • more like smooth jazz?? but nice vid though

  • OMFG, i like it!

    great sound and feeling....

it's possible to have the backing track?

  • just wondering what woods that ken smith has sounds amazing

  • @thecheekybec well, its walnut core, maple neck, mahogany laminates, amd avodire top, thanks!

  • hey just wondering what wood combo that ken smith has sounds amazing

  • jammin..!!!!

  • Very nice playing, and a cool bass!

  • It's alright.

  • I have a old BT6 G with a eboney top {1990} sounds much different than the BSR 6EG.Very nice playing man.Smmth jazz is a great vehicle for that smith man.

  • I love it. Could you upload the backing track for me? I'd like to have a go with it. Thank you.

  • thats a sweet groove and solo man.. nice nice chops!!!!

  • is particularly beautiful music

  • KS basses have an awesome tone!

  • wow!!! te amo!

  • Keep going man!! That was good, except that the clip is too short. The music stopped when I started getting into it. Just make sure you have a signature sound that within a few notes, people would recognize that you are the one playing. That's the secret to success, I think---the uniqueness. And you definitely have the talent to make it work, man.

  • thanks fir the nice comment!! best

  • @leston4life haha.. and marcus miller doesn't get the credit for that quote about the few notes???

  • @leston4life i actually think secret for succes is creativity and the ability to play diferent types of music. . .since each one of us has a different style (not that any style is better than the other) people are obviously gonna recognize you even though you dont even work on that aspect

  • what bass does he use?

  • I am using a ken Smith bass BSR6EG...

  • @xxxthebassmanxxx what wood combo does that BSR6EG have sounds amazing

  • i love your bass sounds great..
