my grandfather restored his 500ci 1971 sedan and might give it to me as a first car. Im happy with getting such an awesome ride but the gas is going to be so expensive!!!
@speelburg13 my grandfather is really good with cars and he just told me he is going to help me modify the engine to give it better mpg when i get it this summer!!!!! =D
caddys arent ugly at all.. yeah everyone comes up to me and says awesome car i wish i still had mine i have a 1983 and 84 sedan deville they ride nice.. and supisingly very good on fuel 18 to 25 mpg+ thats not bad for a heavy car ..your caddy is really nice.. my favorite is 1970 sedandeville 4 drhdtp because we had 1 and it was fast the only problem was the transmission had to rebuilt all the time due to my dad raceing it every time to work lol......
the engine is still the stock 128,000 mile 472ci. plant it came with from the factory rating a supposed 375 horses and an almost 500 ft lbs of torque. and it feels like it, moving a probably 5000 lbs car pretty quick.
Ugly? No way. Thing of beauty to me!!!

Wow wasn't expecting that! it is ugly, but it's a Cadillac, it probably won't be pretty. but still that was amazing.

Yeah, in my opinion, 1970's cars, cadillacs especially, are far from ugly

i couldn't even hot brake mine before i pulled the motor out. once i put the '66 429 in it, i'm sure it will sound like that.
