I love this ending simply bc it makes Harry more alive and in peace knowing that he had hugged his daugther. Cheryl will always cherish the memories she had with her father and know that he'll always be around to protect her.

This is still sad considering that even though Harry tries to explain how he was just a memory. Cheryl still rejects the fact that the Harry she imagines is the one who always loved her, Cheryl was only trying to re-create what her dad could've been.

What a dilemma, either we should cry because Cheryl finally get to meet his daddy; a "hero" figure of a dad, even thought he's not even a ghost. Or because of the irony of the thing Harry went through, those nightmares, puzzles, everything was all for searching his daughter who in a way put Harry in those nightmares itself? OR the fact that all this time Harry thought that he would be very happy to see Cheryl again, but to found out that in fact Cheryl is mentally unstable because of his effort?

Because Harry was not really looking for Cheryl, the game takes place in her mind, simplifying ... the adventure was just an illusion, Harry was already dead after the car crash, Cheryl was Just having some hallucinations about what his dad was doing.

I think it's the most emotional ending, that she still after 18 years would rather live in a made up world than accept the fact that her dad is dead. :/

Harry never comes to life, he's dead. As for Cybil, Michelle, John, Lisa, everyone else you see? From what I got out of it, those people aren't dead, or alive, really. They're just people from Cheryl's memories. Michelle was someone she went to highschool with, Cybil was [I'm guessing] either a cop who was in Cheryl's life [since she got in trouble often] or a cop who maybe told Cheryl and her mother that Harry was dead? continued-
