@GarrardAT6 I've never driven up north from the Alberta side of the Rockies which is the route by the sign. I have gone up several times from the British Columbia route. It's very scenic and joins up with the Alberta route in Dawson Creek, B.C. That is where the Alaska Highway begins. I've only been to Alaska by cruise ship up the Pacific Coast and it was fantastic!
Hi! This video gives me a chance to let you know that I'm stil alive and (almost) well. I'lve been mostly flat on my back for the past month much of that time not able to walk, or able to walk only a few steps. I was actually able to walk into the hospital for an MrI yestereay, which in itself was a major accoplishment. I might not be able to do much in the way of new vids but it feels goot to catch up on everyone else's! Oh.... and here's to good pain killers!!!!

I'd take the scenic route anytime, rather than the shorter distance.

@paperweightgirl I would definitely prefer to take the scenic route, so long as there are good scenes (:->
