@HOTSPICYify : I'm in the US Army and I was station in Vliseck, Germany . The German Army ( Bundeswehr ) and US Army do a lot of joint training together. You can look up video's of it or look up it online and good luck to you
@Historygeek1010 I lived in Germany for awhile and noticed that in cities without any Army bases (sometimes in the middle of the night on the S-Bahn in Berlin) a US soldier would come on and I would always think to myself "am I imaging things?" Lol. I think that's cool though, I just enlisted and am hoping to get back over to Germany while in the Army, I speak fluent German too.

But the Army combat units are just as well trained, physically fit, and motivated as Marine combat units. Marines are expedionary forces that can be deployed anywhere, although the same goes for the XVIII Corps in the Army. Marines as a branch > Army as a branch. Army combat units = Marine combat units.

Half of them think they have what it takes to join the Rangers (Hardcore Spec Ops unit.) Probably because of a recent, super popular war game that features the 75th Rangers. Saw a couple prior service Marines, and others are older people joining due to the bad economy.
