@jcdixon97 actually they do count it as a national championship. Every where you go to see how many championships they have (ex. pre season lineup poster) it says 5 national championships. Plus they still would have had to be pretty good to win so many people's votes.
@jayhawklad99 Nope, the NCAA doesn't count any Helms nomination for ANY school as an NC. And who are "so many people"? Helms was a small committee not even around in the 20's. It was all retroactive from the 30's. Phog Allen himself helped create the NC tourney because even he knew just being 'named' champion was bogus, and not like winning a championship. You have 3 NC's. @jayhawklad99 Nope, the NCAA doesn't count any Helms nomination for ANY school as an NC. And who are "so many people"? Helms was a small committee not even around in the 20's. It was all retroactive from the 30's. Phog Allen himself helped create the NC tourney because even he knew just being 'named' champion was bogus, and not like winning a championship. You have 3 NC's. I can't believe a ku fan doesn't know this stuff.

That's why schools, like say Kentucky, don't count them, ask any UK fan an they will tell you they have 7 NC's, not even counting their Helms nomination. The fact is that has had far more success than Kansas. Twice as many conference championships and 27 bowl appearances to your 12. Bowl selections these days aren't made by selecting who the consensus best teams are or KU wouldn't have even been in a BCS bowl because they were ranked #11 going into it. LOL OMG, This is great, John Anderrson had a Bucknell Shirt at the Kansas game, because Bucknell beat Kansas in the 1st round in the NCAA tournament. And that's MU grad Mike Hall wearing a Bradley shirt. Bradley upset Kansas in the tournamet the year after. Way to go Kansas fags, you guys really are retarded.
