All this effort and hype put into it. Many expected at least a Top 40 hit and a Grammy Nomination (let alone a Top 10 or even #1 hit single and a Grammy Win).
She did get even the "lesser amounts". The album is already off the Hot 100 meaning this is selling just a couple thousand a week now, and with Worth It not doing as well as MDB on even UAC radio, don't expect a revival of this album unless if Whitney pulls of a vocal miracle in the UK and PROMOTES! AI is the only way to save the album!

I just finished to listen to Call you tonight, and it sounded so fresh again, so comtemporary also! But Million dollar Bill takes me back into the 80's feeling again... I think this album will have different good sounds and"feelings", and even if Whitney doesn't sound like in her 20's, cause she is almost 50 now, she still sounds better than most of the younger stuff in the market!

I think we don´t need to wait until Oprah Show on Sept. 14. I just heard she will be in Good Morning America on September 2and will sing LIVE. I can´t wait.
I listen to most of her songs in the album and they are really good. Her voice is very solid like before in the album. With lots of promotions tour with Clive D. and lot of supports from other artist. there´s no doubt it will be a hit. But my only worry is, if she can sing these songs live, but by looking will all their promotions, I never seen her singing live. She is just making appearances, talks a lot and not singing even one of the song contrast to other singers who are doing so.

well, thank you for the lukewarm approach, a positive sentiment with which you obviously gave me a second chance. i will disappoint you, however. just like you, i don t know who created (must have been created at all?) the universe. you claim you know it, and you base the quasi-knowledge on a book. logically, if you allow that one entity had to exist forever and wasnt created, you cannot defeat a theory that postulates that millions of small chemical particles could have been here forever.

You have to realize that there has to be a supernatural being who created all things. It takes faith to believe this but anyone with the slightest intelligence has to know that there is a Creator. It's not about religion or religiosity, but it's about reality; however, I will not judge you or your faith because everyone is entitled to his opinion.

I realize that there is no proof of GOD, and that is why I said that it takes faith. When you attended school, you were told that George Washington, Abe Lincoln, etc. once existed and I'm sure that you believed it. We don't have any proof of their existence the same way that we can't "prove" there is a GOD. Have you ever seen the wind? No, but you believe that it exists, don't you? How does the earth rotate on its axis without someone causing it to do so?

My theory is that she still owes Clive the finishing of that 20-year contract, but she's really not ready for all this. He sincerely wants her to do well, but he is also a businessman. Okay, you are right about that, not that I'm being a devil's advocate. One thing I'm glad about is that we, the audience, are in full support of her, and that will make it easier for her. It's the media's affect on her that worries me. But as long as she stays strong, she'll make it through triumphantly.

I just finished to listen to Call you tonight, and it sounded so fresh again, so comtemporary also! But Million dollar Bill takes me back into the 80's feeling again... I think this album will have different good sounds and"feelings", and even if Whitney doesn't sound like in her 20's, cause she is almost 50 now, she still sounds better than most of the younger stuff in the market!
In fact, her voice is still very soulfull! I wish her the best!

For me Whitney always sounded better live than on the albums. Now, if she is as good as on the album, I'm fine with it. We should have faith in Clive Davis, but also R.Kelly, Alicia Keys, etc. They are giving their name and work, too. And they listened to her sing. If she wasnt ready for a comeback, they would have told her. I'm sure she is ready. I can't wait to hear more of my Whitney. She is one strong woman! I love her!

I listen to most of her songs in the album and they are really good. Her voice is very solid like before in the album. With lots of promotions tour with Clive D. and lot of supports from other artist. there´s no doubt it will be a hit. But my only worry is, if she can sing these songs live, but by looking will all their promotions, I never seen her singing live. She is just making appearances, talks a lot and not singing even one of the song contrast to other singers who are doing so.

You're right, it doesn't make them a good musician, it makes them a good singer. No matter what you say Whitney Houston will go down in history as one of the best singers that ever graced this planet.
Even if you don't like her, there's no reason for you to not respect the fact that as far as she declined, she was able to get back on her feet again. There's millions of people in this world that aren't able to remove themselves from a bad situation, and Whitney did. That is why I applaud her.
