I have been questioned about using the Soviet arms in the background, while using the tricolor flag as well. See, in Hetalia (most of it at least), Russia is actually the Soviet Union. That's why I used the Soviet arms.

But, in the anime and latter in the manga as well, along with lots of Hetalia merchandise, Russia is always seen with the tricolor flag. That's why I used both.
